    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT System Manager to join Hyundai MOBIS IT team. This role is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) within our manufacturing facilities. The IT System Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze production processes, configure MES software, and provide technical expertise to optimize manufacturing operations. This position requires strong understanding of manufacturing systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and proficiency in MES software and related technologies. This role will work at MOBIS, Savannah Plant (MSV).</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><em>(To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)</em></p>\n<li><strong> MES System Design and Configuration:</strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design MES solutions that align with manufacturing process needs and business objectives.</li>\n <li>Configure and customize MES software to meet specific manufacturing requirements, including process workflows, data collection, and reporting functionalities.</li>\n <li>Conduct testing and validation of MES systems to ensure accuracy and reliability.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<li><strong> System Implementation and Integration:</strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead the implementation and deployment of MES systems in manufacturing facilities, working closely with project teams to ensure successful delivery within defined timelines and budgets.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and contractors, to integrate MES systems with other manufacturing systems, such as ERP, SCADA, and PLCs.</li>\n <li>Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues during implementation and integration phases.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<li><strong> System Maintenance and Support:</strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Monitor the performance and availability of MES systems, proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime and disruptions to production operations.</li>\n <li>Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting system errors, and guiding them in utilizing MES functionalities effectively.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with IT Infrastructure and Security teams to manage system upgrades, patches, and security enhancements.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<li><strong> Process Optimization: </strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Analyze manufacturing processes, data, and workflows to identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvement using the MES system.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements, including automation of manual tasks, reduction of cycle times, and enhancement of production workflows through the utilization of MES functionalities.</li>\n <li>Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing data analysis and insights to drive informed decision-making.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<li><strong> Documentation and Training: </strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Create and maintain documentation, including system configuration, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.</li>\n <li>Provide training and guidance to end-users on utilizing MES functionalities, ensuring proper system usage and adherence to standard operating procedures.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<li><strong> Team Leadership: </strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage MES operator, engineer and developer while providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the successful implementation and operation of MES technology.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities: </strong> Yes</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><em>(The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required and preferred for this position.)</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Required Education & Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.</li>\n <li>5 years or more of Experience in MES management</li>\n <li>2 years or more of Experience in people management</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong understanding of production process and related systems</li>\n <li>Strong analytical skills</li>\n <li>Improvement of MES system and development of user's requirement</li>\n <li>Experience in performance optimization for system and Microsoft SQL Database</li>\n <li>Programming language skill: C#, .NET, MS-SQL, JAVA</li>\n <li>Design and development of Interface program for equipment automation</li>\n <li>Knowledge of strategic, conceptual, and consultative process</li>\n <li>Ability to manage multiple projects and schedules to meet deadlines.</li>\n <li>Excellent interpersonal skills, people-management, leadership and communication skills</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills</li>\n <li>Collaborating and communicating skill with other departments</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Education & Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bilingual speaker (English and Korean) is a plus.</li>\n <li>Automotive industry experience.</li>\n</ul>",
