In this role you will greet guests, assist guests with golf bags, prepare and maintain golf carts, and set up the driving range. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Duties &amp; Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Organize the cart garage, plug in carts and maintain a count of all golf carts.</li>\n<li>Interact with guests in a positive and polite manner.</li>\n<li>Clean and prepare golf carts for the next guest’s usage.</li>\n<li>During each shift, check, empty, and refill water stations throughout the golf course.</li>\n<li>Set up the driving range and use a range finder to measure distance.</li>\n<li>Pick up loose balls on the driving range, return them to the shed and clean them.</li>\n<li>Keep the cart staging area and all surrounding areas clean and organized.</li>\n<li>Greet guests at bag drop and assist with loading their bags on a cart or into the bag rack.</li>\n<li>Assist guests moving their clubs from the cart to their car after their round.</li>\n<li>Understand all safety precautions that must be followed while handling golf course equipment.</li>\n<li>Perform other necessary duties as they are assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Desired skills and qualifications</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be 16 years of age or older.</li>\n<li>Possess a valid driver’s license.</li>\n<li>Customer service and communication skills.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of electric and gas golf carts and their use on the driving range, golf course, and surrounding areas.</li>\n<li>Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with staff members, patrons, and the public.</li>\n<li>Ability to read and interpret written documents and manuals.</li>\n<li>Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing.</li>\n<li>Be a team player - build and maintain a working relationship with the Golf team.</li>\n<li>Flexible schedule - ability to work nights, weekends and holidays, as necessary.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Benefits &amp; Perks:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Paid sick leave.</li>\n<li>Program, golf and facility rental discounts.</li>\n<li>A fun, engaging work environment with caring and hardworking teammates.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Physical Requirements</span></p>\n<p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
