It provides non-dilutive capital to high-quality private equity management companies, funds, and institutional investors as part of their toolkit for value creation and portfolio management.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Founded in 2008, 17Capital has completed over 130 investments, deploying more than $20 billion alongside leading private equity franchises globally.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>For more information, please go to <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><a href=\"https://www.linkedin.com/redir/redirect/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2E17capital%2Ecom%2F&amp;urlhash=U7lS&amp;isSdui=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.17capital.com</a></span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Overview</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The Investment team, a single team across both preferred equity and credit strategies, is responsible for the origination and execution of investments and consists of more than 30 professionals across New York and London.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Under the supervision of mid-level investment professionals, the Investment Analyst will take a role in sourcing, analysis, execution and monitoring of both preferred equity and credit investments, working on both US and European transactions as required.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Role &amp; Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Screen &amp; analyse investment opportunities:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review preliminary information and conduct due diligence on underlying portfolio (by fund and/or company)</li>\n<li>Analysis of underlying portfolio managers, strategy, track record and investor base</li>\n<li>Build companies’ performance projections and cash flow models</li>\n<li>Assist in structuring and pricing of transactions and return underwriting</li>\n<li>Write summary investment memos and help the team to present to investment committee</li>\n<li>Assist in transaction execution and legal process</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Monitoring existing portfolio:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review information received on existing investments</li>\n<li>Coordinate with investee managers when required</li>\n<li>Write investment reviews for quarterly reporting</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Deal origination &amp; marketing:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the preparation of deal sourcing, fundraising, and investor update materials</li>\n<li>Screen, identify, and build relationships with appropriate deal flow targets</li>\n<li>Track and analyse performance of origination and marketing strategies</li>\n<li>Prepare materials for and participate in deal origination meetings</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Other:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the company’s values and culture</li>\n<li>Participate in strategic sessions and company offsites</li>\n<li>International travel as required for deal origination, monitoring and execution purposes</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><em>This job description is subject to the terms and conditions of an employee’s Employment Contract and associated policies.
