We also want to allow for the growth and development of the human spirit through personal interaction with the natural environment, personal challenge, and teamwork, and through always accommodating individual needs while maintaining a high standard of safety.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">Position Overview:  Evergreen International Instructors represent Evergreen Outdoor Center (EOC) by taking a professional, enthusiastic, and well-groomed approach.  They are able to provide high-quality ski and/or snowboard instruction and a high level of guest service and extend themselves to ensure that our guest's experience is a rewarding holiday in Hakuba. Guests will be of all ages and ability levels and lesson types will vary.  You will help to ensure that every guest has a safe, fun &amp; informative experience.  </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities: </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">Provide guests with a fun, safe, enjoyable, and memorable learning experience. Teach skiing and snowboarding to a wide range of our guest demographics at various levels.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">Conduct lessons according to the standards set out by your respective alliance and Evergreen International Ski School (EISS).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">Be knowledgeable of the timing needed for lifts and teaching terrain so instructors are prompt for check-in and other lessons.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">Ensure that your personal schedule and availability are accurate; communicate absences and lateness as soon as possible to your Team Leader or Manager.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">Be knowledgeable of the programs Evergreen Outdoor Center (EOC) offers. Be familiar with the safe use and instruction of the resort's chairlifts and carpets.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">Know and adhere to the 10 Alpine Responsibility Code rules. Teach them to guests during your lessons.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">Ensure students’ equipment is adequate and comfortable.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">Assist in setting up and running special events when required.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">Know the safety procedures for missing or injured guests.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">Read and adhere to all instructions and policies in the Evergreen Outdoor Center (EOC) and Evergreen International Ski School (EISS) handbooks.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">Attend training clinics to enhance and improve your riding and teaching ability.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">Be prepared to assist other departments as needed.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">Assist Ski School Director, Operations Manager, and Team Leaders as required.  </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;
