    "description": "<p>NASC is seeking a Production Technician to support the Advanced Acoustics Sector with assembling battery packs.  This role assists with material handling, building and staging assemblies for further processing, site cleanliness, and other assigned tasks while following all safety procedures.  </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Utilize small hand tools and conduct mechanical assembly of handheld parts. Hot melt glue, scissors, pliers and other benchtop hand tools.</li>\n<li>Assemble components into a jig for further processing.</li>\n<li>Document and record on logs and work instructions results of work performed.</li>\n<li>Work against technical criteria from a drawing or work instruction.</li>\n<li>Inspect work and identify potential defects.</li>\n<li>Maintain a clean and safe work area.</li>\n<li>Assist skilled personnel as needed.</li>\n<li>Perform various other shop duties in accordance with management instructions and oversight.</li>\n<li>Complete an assigned volume of work during a shift.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Required Skills:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Read dimension in decimal from a drawing and identify actual part.</li>\n<li>Diligence to a task. Possess time management skills and do a repetitive task for a shift.</li>\n<li>Ability to listen, read, understand, and follow manufacturing work instructions.</li>\n<li>Flexibility to work in a variety of roles over a period of time.</li>\n<li>Ability to work first or second shift.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Work Experience &amp; Education/Certification Requirements:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school graduate or equivalency certification.</li>\n<li>Previous technician experience preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Physical Requirements:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prolonged periods of standing and walking.</li>\n<li>Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.</li>\n<li>Dexterity with both hands.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The production technician will support manufacturing for a specific production project with the potential for extension based on customer needs.  The initial period will last from June until January.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>",
