This position works directly with our Safety Coordinator and Nurse to gain valuable experience in a foundry setting assisting with administrative tasks and learning about the Health & Safety Departments in our company. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist safety coordinator with planning, documentation, training development, communication and various safety office clerical tasks</li>\n <li>Assist nurse with documentation, employee tracking and various nursing office clerical tasks</li>\n <li>Part time, 10-20 hours per week M-F for 2026-2027 school year (either or both semesters)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Candidate must be a high school senior enrolled in an internship program through their high school</li>\n <li>Strong organizational skills</li>\n <li>Superior verbal and written communication</li>\n <li>High self-motivation and ability to work with a team or independently</li>\n <li>Familiar with Microsoft software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) and video / photo editing</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em><strong>Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers. </strong></em></p>",
