The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric therapy, particularly with children who have complex medical needs. This role involves assessing, developing, and implementing individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, and </p>\n<p>overall function for our patients, while closely collaborating with physiatrists and other healthcare professionals. The therapist will provide treatment for 10-12 patients per day, ranging in age from 0 to 21 years.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct thorough assessments of children with severe medical disabilities to identify physical therapy needs.</li>\n <li>Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, goals, and family input.</li>\n <li>Provide treatment for 10-12 patients daily, addressing a wide range of physical therapy needs for children and young adults aged 0-21.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with physiatrists to coordinate care, discuss patient progress, and refine treatment approaches.</li>\n <li>Use evidence-based practices to provide therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing physical abilities, mobility, and independence.</li>\n <li>Work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and medical professionals, to ensure comprehensive care.</li>\n <li>Educate families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and strategies to support their child's development at home.</li>\n <li>Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.</li>\n <li>Stay current with best practices and advancements in pediatric physical therapy through continuing education and professional development.</li>\n <li>Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions to share knowledge and enhance team effectiveness.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education Requirements:  </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s/or Doctorate in Physical Therapy</li>\n <li>Valid New York State license to practice physical therapy. Must maintain license in good standing.</li>\n <li>Valid NPI Number</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Experience</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience working with pediatric patients, especially those with severe disabilities and complex medical conditions.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Hourly Rate Range:</strong></p>\n<p>$43.59/Hr. To $48.72/Hr.</p>",
