    "description": "<h2>Position Summary</h2>\n<p>MAG Aerospace is seeking to identify a <strong>Systems Engineer - Senior </strong>to support operations based out of Webster Outlying Field (WOLF), MD.</p>\n<p> </p>This position will manage and support a high level NAWCAD program while providing research, design, development, testing, manufacturing, and installation of SOF C5ISR equipment, components, or systems for military, government, or scientific use.\n<p> </p>\n<p>*<strong>This position is contingent upon receipt of government funding and hiring authorization. At this time, a start date has not been determined. We are seeking to identify and engage highly qualified professionals for a talent pipeline. Applicants may be contacted as program funding and hiring approvals are finalized.</strong>*</p>\n<h2>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Perform the below listed duties as well as lead a technical team performing the following:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide engineering analysis, requirements definition, solution engineering, logistics planning, and Test and Evaluation (T&E) for SOF C5ISR systems </li>\n <li>Assist with identifying new projects that support fabrication, integration, and modification of <strong>SOF C5ISR</strong> systems that are fielded and out-of-production including planning, kitting, and engineering changes as well as maintenance of installation plans and checkout procedures that provide support for operational sustainment </li>\n <li>Provide system engineering, system fabrication, integration, modification, system delivery and installation, system support, and technical support for C5ISR systems for vehicles </li>\n <li>Develop Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), developmental testing support, and material research and tracking for critical hardware of <strong>SOF C5ISR</strong> systems that are in production, modernization, and modification phases  </li>\n <li>Support tasks associated with conducting site surveys and reviewing existing surveys of relevant facilities, platforms, systems, locations, and units and consequently identify requirements and constraints to include: space considerations, security constraints, human factors, operational environment, and capabilities </li>\n <li>Support the design or redesign of system architectures to integrate new and emerging technologies into <strong>SOF </strong><strong>C5ISR</strong> systems </li>\n <li>Provide inputs to designs; modify technical reports, drawings, and material lists; and participate in meetings that require system design expertise such as technical reviews, functional and physical configuration audits, and conferences/presentations</li>\n <li>Support the development of DoD and USSOCOM technical and programmatic documentation for <strong>SOF C5ISR</strong> systems</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<p><strong>Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>10 or more years of recent and relevant experience within Navy and other DoD organizations in Systems Engineering Support. Of the 10 or more years of experience required, at least eight of those years of experience must be with <strong>SOF C5ISR</strong> systems as a systems engineer. <strong>It is recommended that the SOF C5ISR experience be made clear in the resume provided when applying</strong></li>\n <li><p>Research, design, develop, test, or supervise the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for commercial industrial, military, or scientific use </p></li>\n <li>Experience in managing a technical team</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Education</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Master's Degree in an Engineering, Mathematics, or other Technical field. No substitutions</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Clearance Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>This position requires a DoD Top Secret Clearance. The projected compensation range for this position is $145,000 to $200,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.",
