Click here for more information about <strong>Global Travel Collection.</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The Luxury Leisure Travel Consultant will be responsible for providing support to an Independent Advisor with a high-volume leisure business.  This individual is expected to assess the client’s needs and provide travel options that meet their expectations. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>This is a full in-office position based in our Woodmere, NY office.</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Research and execute client luxury leisure bookings, including hotel and villas, yachts, cruises, dining arrangements, trip proposals, and full-service concierge.</li>\n <li>Investigate different travel destination options, travel prices, and customs.</li>\n <li>Suggest suitable travel options that best suit customer's needs.</li>\n <li>Is knowledgeable about world events and weather that might affect travel plans.</li>\n <li>Ensure that client is aware of all necessary travel documents and health requirements for countries to be visited.</li>\n <li>Independently review client reservations for accuracy and quality.</li>\n <li>Maintain ownership of each client record until departure to ensure all details are completed to the client's satisfaction.</li>\n <li>Access queues throughout the day</li>\n <li>Handle re-routing and exchange processes as necessary</li>\n <li>Prepare invoices, handle bookings, and manage spreadsheets</li>\n <li>Update client profiles as needed</li>\n <li>Research and provide solutions to any travel-related problem clients may experience.</li>\n <li>Maintain awareness of all airline rules and regulations and accurately applies this knowledge to all travel arrangements.</li>\n <li>Follow up with clients upon their return, obtain feedback, and offer to assist with future travel plans.</li>\n <li>Understanding and implementing AXUS digital itinerary platform (can be taught as needed). </li>\n <li>Perform additional duties/projects upon request.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>At least three (3) years of experience in the luxury leisure sector of the hospitality industry.</li>\n <li>Minimum of one (1) year of Sabre experience.</li>\n <li>Competency with all ticketing processes including exchanges.</li>\n <li>Experience with high end and high demand travelers.</li>\n <li>Ability to function in a fast –paced, demanding environment with little supervision.</li>\n <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>PAY AND BENEFITS</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Our benefit offerings include choice of two medical plans and two dental plans, vision insurance, flexible spending accounts (FSAs), company-paid life insurance and AD&D, optional additional life insurance and AD&D, disability insurance, paid parental leave, paid time off, 401k Plan with company match, discounted employee travel options, access to LinkedIn Learning webinars and courses.
