The position works closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams and plays a key role in continuous improvement initiatives, including the installation and operation of a new Induction Furnace.</p><p>This role is ideal for an engineer seeking hands-on experience in industrial operations with increasing responsibility and leadership exposure.</p><p><br></p><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3><h3><br></h3><p><strong>Operations &amp; Process Control</strong></p><ul><li>Monitor and support melting and pouring operations, including furnace performance and process stability.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Set, monitor, and adjust process controls such as charge makeup and melt chemistry to meet production and quality requirements.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Support operation of electric arc furnaces from the Melt Tower.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Assist in refractory maintenance planning and coordination with maintenance teams.<br>&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>People &amp; Production Support</strong></p><ul><li>Coordinate and support hourly personnel to optimize departmental performance.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Assist with workforce adjustments based on production needs.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Communicate operating expectations and provide technical support to operations teams.<br>&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Quality &amp; ISO Compliance</strong></p><ul><li>Maintain adherence to Quality Control procedures and ISO standards.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Support calibration systems and participate in routine audits of departmental processes.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure training documentation, work instructions, and hands-on practices are aligned.<br>&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Safety</strong></p><ul><li>Promote a safe work environment through enforcement of safety rules and proactive engagement.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Participate in safety meetings, incident investigations, and corrective action development.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Support housekeeping and “Right-to-Know” compliance.<br>&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Cost &amp; Continuous Improvement</strong></p><ul><li>Support initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Assist in developing and maintaining production standards, methods, and performance metrics.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain production reports and track key departmental data.<br>&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>New Equipment Integration</strong></p><ul><li>Provide engineering and operational support for the installation, commissioning, and ongoing operation of a new Induction Furnace.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Coordinate with maintenance, production, safety, and external partners during startup and ramp-up phases.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><h3><strong>Qualifications</strong></h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Materials Science Engineering.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>1–3 years of experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or production environment.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Familiarity with Quality Control systems and ISO standards.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with both hourly and salaried teams.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrated initiative and willingness to learn complex industrial processes.<br>&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in team-based environments.<br>&nbsp;</li></ul><p><br></p>",
