Seeking an Auto Body Shop Technician. At Haley GMC Midlothian , we help restore vehicles to like-new condition in our fully equipped collision repair shop. We Work With: All Vehicle Models All Insurance Companies We Take Care Of Dents Major Body Work Windshields Auto Body Painting Job Duties: Damage Assessment: Evaluate the extent of damage to a vehicle's body after an accident or other incidents. Repair Techniques: Employ various techniques to repair damaged panels, including straightening, welding, and filling. Panel Replacement: Replace damaged or rusted panels with new ones. Rust Removal: Remove rust and corrosion from vehicle bodies. Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, priming, and applying filler. Painting: Apply paint and clear coat to vehicle bodies, ensuring a smooth and even finish. Finishing Touches: Polish and buff the vehicle to restore its shine. Customization: Some technicians also work on customizing vehicles by adding aftermarket parts or modifying existing ones. Working with Car Lights and Windows: Some technicians also work with car lights and windows.
