Description

Overview $20.29 / hour Six Flags Entertainment is seeking a Service Technician II at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, CA . The Service Technician II, under minimal direction, provides end user software, hardware, and network support and assistance. diagnoses, and resolves routine to somewhat complex hardware, software, and network related issues. Responds to helpdesk calls and tickets in a timely manner and documents. Responsibilities Monitors Service Desk communication channels. Responds and records service requests and incidents in the ticketing System. Updates tickets with appropriate information throughout Installs, supports, and upgrades computers, POS workstations, and associated peripherals and software. May create software installation packages or images. the ticket life-cycle. Troubleshoots and resolves routine to somewhat complex level one/two hardware, software, and network issues. Escalates complex and/or high priority issues to the appropriate support groups for resolution. Assist senior park and corporate IT staff as needed and directed Provides user systems access. Ensures appropriate approval is provided and documented. May lead service desk related projects. Acts as a technical liaison between IT and guests and other associates. Always acts in a professional and respectful manner. SCOPE & IMPACT: The Service Technician II has a wide range of responsibility for information technology systems in Six Flags. Performs multiple duties that support the hardware, software and networks as needed for all computers and servers. Provides guidance and assistance to seasonal staff. Qualifications · Vocational Degree in IT or equivalent work experience. · 1-2 years’ experience in IT Support · Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs. · Certificate CompTIA A+ or Network+ preferred · Valid Driver’s License required We offer a generous benefits package to our employees including medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401(k) with match, retirement savings plan, Paid Time Off, wellness programs, FREE Admissions to ALL of our Six Flags Parks, and much more!
