The College embraces and seeks to hire individuals who want to be a part of this environment and have the skill sets necessary to be successful in this position.</h3><p></p>The primary responsibility is to assist the lead air traffic control instructors with air traffic control lab-based courses that may include non-radar simulation, enroute radar simulation, and/or TRACON simulation. Additionally, participation in professional development, designing course materials to meet industry standards, and collaborating on departmental and college governance initiatives are integral to the role.<p></p><p><b>Job Duties:</b></p><ul><li><p>Provide academic instruction to students as assigned.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) procedures per Air Traffic-College Training Initiative (AT-CTI)requirements.</p></li><li><p>Assist with development of new courses and revise existing courses as required.</p></li><li><p>Represent the aviation department at conferences, seminars, and workshops.</p></li><li><p>Perform other duties as assigned by the Department’s Executive Director or Academic Dean.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Minimum Qualifications: </span></b></p><ul><li><p>Eight (8) years of experience in an<span> FAA </span>Air Traffic Control Tower, Air Route Traffic Control Center, or Radar Approach Control.</p></li><li><p>Air Traffic Control instructional and/or supervisory experience.</p></li><li><p>Possess basic computer skills.</p></li><li><p>Hold<span> FAA</span>-Issued Certified Professional Controller Certificate.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Required Documents: </span></b></p><ul><li><p>Resume</p></li><li><p>Cover Letter</p></li><li><p><span>FAA</span>-Issued Certified Professional Controller Certificate.</p></li></ul><p></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:left\"><b>All Applicants:</b></p><ul><li>Compare your previous work experience to the job duties listed on the job positing under job description.
