The LPN or RN will report directly to the Director of Nursing. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #333333; font-size: 16px\">Skills/Qualifications</span></span><span style=\"color: #333333; font-size: 16px\">: An </span><span style=\"color: #333333; font-size: 16px\"><span style=\"color: rgb(56, 49, 47)\">LPN or RN must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma and a Certificate of Practical Nursing and/or an Associate's Degree, and </span><span>have a current unrestricted license to work in the state of Missouri and be CPR certified.</span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333; font-size: 16px\"><br></span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Job Responsibilities</span></span><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Provide skilled nursing interventions to treat the patient’s illness, address their rehabilitative needs, and promote preventive care. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Utilize a skilled approach in the provision of problem-specific therapeutic interventions, teachings, and training activities following the plan of care. </span></li>\n<li>Explaining services by performing community outreach. They will educate clients, hospital staff, physicians, and community stakeholders on Home Care Services and the admission process. </li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, providing physical and psychological support to patients, their families, and friends, and supervising assigned team members.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Confer with the RN supervisor regarding any necessary changes to the Plan of Treatment/Care.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Provide nursing assessments and patient education. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Treat wounds, change wound dressings, give injections, and administer enemas.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Collect specimens from patients.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Administers medications and sets up medication dispensers.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Measures and records vital signs.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Reports and observed changes in patient conditions to the Director of Nursing.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>",
