          "text": "<ul><li>Produce detailed engineering drawings, site directives, material lists and other related documents for the design of electrical arrangements utilized in electrical power generation, transmission, transformation and distribution systems;</li><li>Provide engineering support for procurement, fabrication and construction activities;</li><li>Provide field supervision and/or monitoring of projects;</li><li>Review shop drawings and interface with equipment vendors;</li><li>Estimate construction (labor and material) costs;</li><li>Conduct site surveys, inspections or technical investigations to provide data for engineering projects (Note: Must be able to wear personal protective equipment: hard hat, safety glasses, safety footwear, fire-retardant clothing, hearing protection, etc. as dictated by provincial and site-specific safety requirements);</li><li>Review the work of the draftsperson and other technicians;</li><li>Produce drawings according to the drawing’s standards of the company, the customer and the applicable regulatory agencies;</li><li>Perform other administrative and technical functions in support of engineering activities;</li><li>Provide support for compliance activities such as document control, quality control, process improvement, etc.;</li><li>Comply with the health and safety duties for a worker as mandated by the Ontario Health and Safety Act, Section 28 and work in compliance with the provisions of this Act and its regulations.</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p>",

          "text": "<ul><li>Diploma, with 2 or more years of post-secondary education in electrical disciplines;</li><li>0 to 3 years of experience in utility substation design or related electrical arrangement projects;</li><li>Hands-on experience with transformer, breaker, and disconnect switch installation design for 230kV, 115kV, and 27.6kV utility applications;</li><li>Familiarity with station AC and DC auxiliary services design;</li><li>Strong knowledge of electrical equipment and materials used in high-voltage substations, including bills of material and cable lists;</li><li>Solid understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of electrical arrangement design;</li><li>Ability to interpret and produce electrical arrangement plan, elevations and details accurately;</li><li>Ability to interpret single-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, structural/civil/mechanical design drawings accurately;</li><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D &amp; 3D) and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint);</li><li>Experience with BIM tools or 3D modeling software (e.g., Revit) for integrated design workflows;</li><li>Knowledge of applicable electrical standards and regulations (CSA, IEEE, IEC);</li><li>Familiarity with project documentation standards and quality assurance processes;</li><li>Understanding of electrical protection and control systems for substations and industrial facilities;</li><li>Demonstrated technical skills: teamwork, problem-solving, time management, adaptability, and clear communication (written and verbal);</li><li>Previous experience with public utilities is an asset;</li><li>Strong attention to detail for producing precise and accurate drawings;</li><li>Keen observation skills, curiosity, and ingenuity in design;</li><li>Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams (protection &amp; control, telecom, civil, structural, mechanical);</li><li>Organizational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously;</li><li>Basic knowledge of project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) for scheduling and coordination;</li><li>Comfortable with client interactions and clarifying technical requirements;</li><li>Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on emerging technologies in electrical design.</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p>",
