Description

Do you want to grow your career as a project manager in the environmental field (engineering, geology, environmental science)? If so, Nobis wants you! Nobis Group is looking for a project manager (PM) in our environmental team based in Concord, New Hampshire. The ideal candidate will be passionate about real opportunities to lead in and outside the firm, develop business, engage directly in the marketing process, and have demonstrated experience in the field to back it up. We bring together top-notch personnel with a wide range of knowledge and experience to solve complex environmental problems. Because Nobis is 100% employee-owned, you’ll be empowered in your work and part of a culture that values ideas, voices, and growth. In conjunction with the PM position, we are looking for an experienced professional to serve as a Brownfields Practice Leader, with the goal of expanding our brownfields service line. Experience serving as a lead or team member in responding to brownfield proposals—including participating in interviews and contributing to successful selections—is a plus. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the management and execution of all aspects of the Brownfields Program in both technical application and program-specific procedural requirements. If you’re an experienced environmental project manager, motivated to make a difference through meaningful work, mentorship, and outreach, this role is a natural fit. About Nobis Every day at Nobis, we see how community-centered environmental solutions improve public health, reduce ecological liabilities, and support community revitalization and growth. We’re an integrated consulting firm that solves engineering challenges for public and private projects of all sizes, and we’re looking to grow our team. As an ESOP—a 100% employee-owned company—you’ll be joining a great place to work with an active, supportive culture, steady project loads, and a strong focus on collaboration and embracing positive atmosphere. Nobis has an extensive and successful history partnering with the EPA, state agencies, regional planning commissions and local communities to investigate, clean up and redevelop brownfields sites throughout the Northeast and Puerto Rico. Because we’re 100% employee-owned, you will become an owner. You will become part of a team that thrives on diversity of thought, encourages out-of-the-box ideas, and strives to fulfill our mission to deliver unparalleled engineering and environmental solutions that drive employee-owner, client, and community success . What You’ll Do Project Manager Be at the table in the early client relationship and project pursuit process, including active participation in proposal creation, presentations, and negotiation. Take ownership of important project details like budget, effective and as-sold multipliers, terms of agreement, scope changes, billing process, and settlements, and keep everyone on schedule and organized for meetings and follow-ups. Lead and delegate team members’ workload balance and, when necessary, interface with senior management to modify project procedures when deviations are necessary. Generate project goals that match client needs, budget considerations, and schedule requirements, and flag changes proactively to avoid contractual delivery conflicts. Maintain up-to-date project file and reporting accuracy while monitoring quality, design, and technology standards consistently with client requirements.
