The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of gas measurement systems, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting, as well as a commitment to ensuring accuracy and compliance in all gas measurement processes.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><p>Calibration &amp; Maintenance:</p><p>Perform and oversee the calibration and maintenance of electronic gas flow measurement devices to ensure accurate and reliable data.</p><p>Conduct regular preventative maintenance on all measurement equipment.</p><p>Troubleshooting &amp; Repairs:</p><p>Assist in diagnosing and resolving issues related to automation and electrical gas measurement equipment.</p><p>Respond promptly to call-out requests for maintenance or emergency situations, which may require irregular hours.</p><p>Gas Chromatograph Operations:</p><p>Operate and maintain portable gas chromatographs (GCs), ensuring consistent and accurate functionality.</p><p>Testing &amp; Sampling:</p><p>Schedule, conduct, and oversee gas calibration and sampling tests, including the preparation and submission of detailed reports.</p><p>Witness gas calibrations and gas analysis to verify accuracy and compliance with industry standards.</p><p>Orifice Plate Sizing &amp; Measurement Accuracy:</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Perform calculations to determine optimal orifice plate sizes, ensuring accurate and efficient gas measurement.</p><p>Documentation &amp; Reporting:</p><p>Maintain thorough records of all maintenance, calibrations, and test results in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.</p><p>Compliance &amp; Safety:</p><p>Ensure all activities are performed in compliance with relevant standards and safety protocols.</p><p>Qualifications:</p><p>Education &amp; Experience:</p><p>High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification in a related field preferred.</p><p>Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in gas measurement, automation, or a related field.</p><p>Technical Skills:</p><p>Proficiency with electronic gas flow measurement devices, gas chromatographs, and automation systems.</p><p>Strong understanding of gas calibration, sampling, and analysis processes.</p><p>Ability to perform technical calculations, including orifice plate sizing.</p><p>Soft Skills:</p><p>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.</p><p>Effective communication and documentation abilities.</p><p>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</p><p>Other Requirements:</p><p>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and ability to travel to remote field locations as needed.</p><p>Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends, for emergency situations.</p></div></div>\n",
