    "description_html": "<p>&nbsp;COCU Utility Operator &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong>REPORT TO:</strong> Terminal Manager &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>HOURS: </strong>6am - 4pm Mon. - Thur., OT as required</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>JOB SUMMARY:</strong> Responsible for maintaining housekeeping standards for IPL contracted area of responsibility.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>JOB ANALYSIS:</strong> Utility operator is responsible for all operations required to maintain contractual obligations for housekeeping services to Chemours. This includes, but is not limited to:</p><p>· Shoveling all spills which occur due to mechanical failures in our area of responsibility.</p><p>· Operating equipment when required.</p><p>· Show up to work on time and as scheduled.</p><p>· Document problems with loader and other equipment on the PM sheet to initiate work orders.</p><p>· Completes, in their entirety, both the daily PM and the Shift Report.</p><p>· Operate skid steer loader and other hand tools required to keep Ore and coke belt areas clean and clear of material.</p><p>· Assists in day-to-day operations in other work areas as directed by the Shift Crew Leader.</p><p>· Performs preventative maintenance as required by written PM system.</p><p>· Communicates effectively with Chemours on a daily basis concerning plant feed operations through consistent monitoring of the Reaction radio channel.</p><p>· Follows Plant Feed Operations procedures, insuring compliance at all times.&nbsp;</p><p>· Responsible for following both Chemours and IPL safety standards in all IPL work areas</p><p>· Assist IPL and Chemours in developing safer and more efficient procedures.</p><p>· Attend weekly shift safety meetings and DBH organizational meetings when scheduled.&nbsp;</p><p>· Assist supervision in investigating all accidents and near misses.&nbsp;</p><p>· Knowledge of OSHA and EPA guidelines as they apply to plant feed operations.</p><p>· Fill in positions when required such as Vacuum Truck, Plant Feed Loader Operator, and Trackmobile Operator.
