Your role is critical in maintaining a fun, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests.</p>\n<p>This is a seasonal position at Hurricane Harbor Phoenix in Phoenix AZ. It features a competitive hourly rate of $15.50, along with perks such as: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Free entry to any Six Flags Park for all employees </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Additional complimentary tickets for friends & family </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Flexible scheduling </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Weekly pay options available </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Monitor guests in shallow water attractions to ensure compliance with safety rules and prevent accidents </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Remain alert and focused while observing water activities to identify any potential risks or emergencies </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Respond promptly and effectively to water rescues, providing assistance and first aid as necessary </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure safety equipment (such as life jackets and flotation devices) is in good condition and easily accessible to guests </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist in maintaining a clean and safe pool area, including removing debris and checking water quality </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Communicate effectively with team members and guests to ensure everyone’s safety </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Educate guests on pool safety rules and proper behavior in the water </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Complete incident reports and other required documentation </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform regular safety checks on the pool area to ensure all safety protocols are being followed </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Work with fellow lifeguards and management to ensure the attraction is running smoothly and safely </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be at least 15 years of age or older </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be reliable, responsible, and safety-conscious </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with guests </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to stay calm and make quick decisions in emergency situations </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Previous lifeguard or pool experience is a plus but not required </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Certification in CPR, First Aid, and lifeguarding <strong>(</strong><strong>Paid Training!!)</strong><strong> </strong></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays </li>\n</ul>",
