Description

Summary of Position At CruzAlta, we believe leading with an eternal purpose fuels excellence. By catalyzing first-hand insights and data into value-driven action, we partner with clients to build lasting capabilities, address operations pain points and deliver world class results. The Equipment Validation Sample Technician’s primary role is to interface with the CruzAlta team leads as well as clients to meet the objectives of the Equipment Validation contract. The technicians will work in teams collecting required process samples as well as delivering the samples to the testing lab in a timely manner. Duties & Responsibilities/Expectations 1. Support the CruzAlta Equipment Validation team with the following tasks. a. Work under the direct supervision of the EV Project lead for the duration of the execution. b. Assist with setting up and staging the lab equipment that will be part of the EV support. c. Walking out piping circuits to identify and tag sample locations. d. Be able to catch samples in the field at locations identified as part of the project scope. e. Might possibly communicate with site contractors (mechanical fitters) as they support any changes to equipment in the field that will support the objective of the project. Sample locations, utility’s location etc. f. Be able to climb and spend significant time in the field to support the client / project objectives. g. Be able to support troubleshooting and help solve problems relative to diagnosing cross contamination potential where identified by sample condition data. h. Have a basic level of competency when it comes to hazard recognition and basic safety protocol to ensure, we maintain safety vigilance in a petrochemical / refinery environment. i. Assists Project Lead as requested. Supervisory Responsibilities (Direct and indirect) None. Will report to the Project Lead on site for the duration of the execution support.
