LTC is an interpreting agency looking for contract interpreters in and around <b><u>Nashville, TN.</u></b><br><br>You will accept appointments on an as needed basis.  The ideal interpreter has 3 years of experience interpreting and has experience in a variety of medical settings, social work, education and workplace settings, among others. </p><p><strong>Here is what you get to do</strong></p><ul><li>Provide virtual & on-site, in-person interpretation.</li><li>Be a liaison using the client’s preferred language</li><li>Accurately interprets appropriate to the setting and audience.</li><li>Comply with all state, local, and federal laws and regulations regarding privacy and confidentiality of medical information, including HIPAA.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Interpreting certifications, preferred</li><li>Minimum of 2 years medical interpreting experience preferred</li><li>Minimum of 1-2 years of interpreting experience required</li><li>Ability to keep accurate records</li></ul><p><strong>As an Independent Contractor Interpreter, you will not be employee of LTC. Rather you will function as an independent contractor, providing language interpretation services on an IRS Form 1099 basis.</strong><br><br><strong>Candidate must live within commuting distance of Nashville, TN.</strong></p>",
