This position is responsible for operating various manual and automated manufacturing equipment within the Brewing &amp; Batching Departments. The Batching Associate will be cross-trained and able to complete tasks in cleaning, mixing, blending, materials batching, sanitation, quality and filtration areas. You will be responsible for completing daily and weekly batching operations tasks on time and within standard operating procedures, while ensuring Safety and Quality. This position will work closely with fellow operations team members, electro-mechanics, and electricians.</p><p><strong><u>Duties and Responsibilities</u></strong></p><ul><li>Safely perform all work tasks, wearing all required PPE</li><li>Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and HACCP rules</li><li>Manually batch dry and liquid ingredients&nbsp;</li><li>Forklift operation for material movement around facility</li><li>Verify the quality, quantity, and lot numbers of all the necessary raw materials prior to batching</li><li>Operation of pumps, valves, and sequences&nbsp;</li><li>Performance of basic laboratory testing and data recording</li><li>Loading and unloading of tanker trucks and completion of necessary paperwork in compliance with FDA&nbsp;</li><li>Perform tank&nbsp;and line&nbsp;cleanings on schedule using a CIP system</li><li>General cleaning following a master sanitation schedule with use of chemicals and pressure hoses</li><li>Ensure safety procedures are followed by adherence to Company policies</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Minimum Qualifications</u></strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or GED&nbsp;equivalent required</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint) and effectively use the Internet</li><li>Attention to detail required.</li><li>Previous experience driving a forklift a plus</li><li>Effective communication skills both verbal and written</li><li>Enjoy working in a fast-paced, self-managed team environment</li><li>Take pride when working in your space, attending to cleaning the machine and area you work in.</li><li>Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment with people of varying skills and backgrounds</li><li>Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><em>City Brewery is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and all applicants will be considered without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran, or disability status.</em></p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n<br/>Must be available to work 2nd or 3rd shift including weekends and holidays.",
