    "description": "<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Shift: Sunday-Wednesday 7:30am-6:00pm est.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Key responsibilities</strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs Quality Control (QC) testing of Cell Therapy in-process, release and stability samples. Typical test methods performed include flow cytometry, qPCR (MycoTOOL), ELISA, cell counts, sterility (BACT), gram stain and endotoxin (LAL) testing.</li>\n <li>Assists in tracking and trending of QC data.</li>\n <li>Performs technical reviews of raw data.</li>\n <li>Records test results and maintains raw data and accurate laboratory records.</li>\n <li>Performs general lab and equipment maintenance duties.</li>\n <li>Performs other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Key requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelors degree in Sciences </li>\n <li>2+ years experience</li>\n <li>Performs tasks with strict adherence to cGMP and cGDP principles.</li>\n <li>Has an understanding of basic laboratory equipment and practices.</li>\n <li>Is proficient in the use of spreadsheets and word processing software.</li>\n <li>Have ability to problem solve by selecting appropriate alternative from defined options.</li>\n <li>Is dependable and able to work well within a team.</li>\n <li>Is interested in learning new things.  Open to change.</li>\n <li>Is optimistic and displays a positive attitude even during periods of adversity.</li>\n <li>Shows initiative; acts independently with management approval</li>\n <li>Possesses a high attention to detail</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrated knowledge in biological, cell-based assays including flow cytometry preferred.</li>\n <li>Aseptic technique</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Pay Range</h2>\n<p><strong>$35-$37/hr</strong></p>\n<h2>Requisition Disclaimer</h2>\n<p>This job posting is for a temporary role with a third-party agency partner on assignment at Vertex Pharmaceuticals (“Vertex”).
