    "description": "<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential  opportunity for a civilian <strong>Licensed Practical Nurse -  Pain Management </strong> at<strong> Nellis Air Force Base, in Las Vegas Nevada.</strong> This contract position offers:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Highlights:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Employee status and access to a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, and, Vision, 401(K), PTO and Sick time</li>\n <li>Schedule - 40 hours weekly, scheduled between 0730 and 1630  </li>\n <li>Fully Insured patient population</li>\n <li>No on-call</li>\n <li>Opportunity to Care for our Active Duty, Retiree's and their families</li>\n <li>11 paid federal holidays</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Education and Experience:</strong></p>\n<p>The <strong>Licensed Practical Nurse</strong> will have the following requirements:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be a US citizen, or lawful permanent resident, or alien authorized to work in the US</li>\n <li>Shall have and maintain a current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.</li>\n <li>Shall hold and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS), Certifications must be through American Heart Association or American Red Cross guidelines. Additionally, must provide proof of documented training from the National Foundation for Integrative Medicine (NFIM) or a similar accredited body. </li>\n <li>Graduate from an accredited community college, junior college, college, or vocational nursing program approved by the appropriate State agency; and Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).</li>\n <li>Must have a minimum of two (2) years of full-time experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse within the last four (4) years. At least one (1) year of this experience must have been in an integrative medicine, pain management, orthopedic, or rehabilitative clinic setting. This experience must include duties such as assisting primary providers with non-pharmacological procedures, preparing patients for treatment, documenting clinical encounters, and providing patient education as directed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Standared Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform a full range of LPN duties within the scope of their license and privileges granted by the MTF.</li>\n <li>Assist physicians and other providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments. This includes rooming patients, taking and recording vital signs, preparing patients for procedures, and assisting during minor procedural interventions.</li>\n <li>Administer medications as prescribed by the provider, including intramuscular, subcutaneous, and oral medications.</li>\n <li>Maintain and manage patient medical records, ensuring accurate and timely documentation in MHS GENESIS.</li>\n <li>Provide patient education regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care as directed by the provider.</li>\n <li>Perform basic administrative and clerical duties, including scheduling follow-up appointments, managing referral queues, and communicating with patients via phone or secure messaging.</li>\n <li>Maintain clinic readiness by stocking exam rooms, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring equipment is functional.</li>\n <li>Maintain a professional manner, display a positive and cooperative attitude, and adhere to all MTF policies regarding safety, patient privacy, and dress code.</li>\n <li>Complete all required MTF, DHA, and service-specific training as directed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Company Overview:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>“At Spectrum, we utilize over thirty-five years of experience providing optimal solutions for federal agencies that are both innovative and cost-effective.
