    "description": "<p>Total Rehab Kids is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing therapy team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to help patients improve their daily living skills, functional independence, and overall quality of life.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This is a hands-on clinical position where you’ll implement treatment plans, guide therapeutic activities, and support patients in regaining independence. You’ll play a key role in motivating patients, documenting progress, and collaborating with families and the care team to ensure the best outcomes.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist Occupational Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans.</li>\n<li>Lead therapeutic activities and exercises to improve physical, sensory, and cognitive function.</li>\n<li>Monitor and document patient progress, reporting updates to the supervising OT.</li>\n<li>Educate and support patients and families on therapeutic strategies to promote independence at home.</li>\n<li>Maintain a safe, organized, and supportive therapy environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Qualification Requirements:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Current license / registration by state of Texas as a COTA</li>\n<li>Bilingual</li>\n<li>Current CPR certification</li>\n<li>Excellent Customer Service and Support skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Benefits:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Health Insurance</li>\n<li>401k</li>\n<li>Paid Time Off</li>\n<li>Paid Holidays</li>\n</ul>",
