Description

The successful candidate will enter to the Regional trainee program, where for 12 - 18 months will participate in various modules to be carried out in home country and may include also different countries in the Latin America region. After successfully completing the program, the candidate will be considered a local manager and assigned as Finance Manager position in their country of origin or where there is an available opportunity. DESCRIPTION AND FUNCTIONS OF POSITION Serve on the different functions of financial areas such as Cost Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Compliance Human Resources, Corporate reporting under IFRS standards. Perform Internal control activities to ensure mitigation of risks associated with the company's business. Implement policies and procedures under corporate and regional standards • Implement business analysis to establish levels of profitability. Prepare Budget and expense reduction plans. Business Analysis. Month closing financial statements. RESPONSABILITES : The Finance manager’s primary responsibilities include overseeing day to day operation of the finance & accounts function, to lead the local F&A team and ensuring efficient execution of F&A activities and liaise closely with business partners and operations. The individual would act as Finance business partner and be responsible for the following: Financial Accounting and Reporting o Timely review and closing of Management information system (MIS) with detailed analysis and insights on the accounts / reports. o Timely closure of Tax & Statutory audit basis local accounting standards and Group audit basis IFRS. Business Performance Review o Liaise with relevant stakeholders and drive preparation and analysis of annual budgets and business plans, comparison of actual performance against the budget, identifying and analyzing variance, and monitoring implementation of necessary course corrective actions. o Monthly review of key business metrics along with business head / business teams and bringing insights in terms of performance and having an independent point of view on performance and projections for rest of the year. o Business review / Controllership role includes review of initiatives on Working Capital and Fixed Capital Productivity and Direct and Fixed Costs reduction / optimization. Risk Management, Compliance and Assurance o Evaluate and monitor business risks and its impact on overall business delivery, developing and/or modifying control processes as required. o Ensure compliance to legal, tax and statutory requirements applicable to the country including understanding Transfer pricing rules and regulations and ensure full compliance with the same o Partnering with stake holders to define right legal and tax structure for any new M&A transaction. Focus on Systems and processes o Work on improving existing processes and systems, strengthening controls and improve efficiencies through automation. o Participate and work on organization wide Functional initiatives in areas such as capital productivity, cost optimization and management accounting policies. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Available for national or international travel. Willing to settle in other cities / must have international mobility. Interest in pursuing a career in food ingredients industry & agribusiness. LANGUAGES : Advanced English (Required). ACADEMIC LEVEL : University Degree / Specialization in Tax. Master in Business Administration and Finance.. EDUCATION : Public Accounting or Finance. EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE : Strong understanding & experience in Finance function, Tax, Cost Accounting, treasury and audit. 4 to 6 years full time job experience in well recognized multinational companies, exporters or agricultural commodities, and major auditing firms to play roles in taxes, costs, treasury, etc. SKILLS REQUIRED :  Entrepreneurial Spirit. Excellent communication skills. Negotiation skills. Mobility, capacity to work in a low structure multicultural environment (flexibility). Good Interpersonal relationship and team work at high level. High level of personal organization, Discipline, Self-motivation. Leadership and Ambition to achieve positions of responsibility. High level of Analytical skills (numerical & reasoning) and decision making. Results orientation and Attention to detail. Good leadership skills. Leadership and good interpersonal skills & teamwork.
