The Supervisor of Clinical Counseling Services provides leadership and oversight within the department, including staff, interns, and volunteers.</span></p><p style='margin:0in;text-align:justify;font-size:15px;font-family:\"Franklin Gothic Book\",sans-serif;margin-top:4.0pt;margin-right:17.95pt;margin-bottom:.0001pt;margin-left:17.95pt;'><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\"><br></span></p><h1 style='margin-top:0in;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:0in;margin-left:.25in;line-height:14.0pt;font-size:15px;font-family:\"Franklin Gothic Book\",sans-serif;font-weight:normal;'><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\">RESPONSIBILITIES</span></h1><p style='margin:0in;text-align:justify;font-size:15px;font-family:\"Franklin Gothic Book\",sans-serif;margin-left:.25in;'><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\"><u>Clinical Counseling Services</u></span></p><p style='margin:0in;text-align:justify;font-size:15px;font-family:\"Franklin Gothic Book\",sans-serif;margin-top:4.0pt;margin-right:17.95pt;margin-bottom:.0001pt;margin-left:.25in;'><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\">To execute trauma-informed, systemic intervention through Intensive Family Therapy (IFT) and Solution Focused therapy models that directly address the root cause of poverty, and promote emotional well-being and stability for adults and children, the Supervisor:</span></p><div style='margin:0in;font-size:15px;font-family:\"Franklin Gothic Book\",sans-serif;'><ol style=\"margin-bottom:0in;list-style-type: decimal;margin-left: 25.950000000000003px;\"><li style=\"margin: 0in; font-size: 18px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Oversees the provision of high-quality clinical services and directs key programmatic areas: individual, group, trauma informed family therapy,&nbsp;and&nbsp;UGM&rsquo;s crisis response team, utilizing a range of evidence-based clinical modalities proven effective in reducing trauma systems.</li><li style=\"margin: 0in; font-size: 18px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Upon receipt, reviews and assigns clinical counseling referrals to Clinical Therapists and interns as determined appropriate.</li><li style=\"margin: 0in; font-size: 18px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Collaborates with Department Leaders and Case Managers to ensure service integration and coordination.</li><li style=\"margin: 0in; font-size: 18px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Monitors for implementation and compliance (i.e., referrals, assessment, service planning, discharge, case record maintenance etc.).</li><li style=\"margin: 0in; font-size: 18px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Participates in multidisciplinary team meetings (MDT) as deemed necessary for select residents.</li><li style=\"margin: 0in; font-size: 18px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Provides mental health specific training and clinical consultation to UGM-TC program employees.</li><li style=\"margin: 0in; font-size: 18px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Promotes and supports cross collaboration with internal and external programs and services to ensure individuals and families with children are referred and linked to need driven supportive services.</li><li style=\"margin: 0in; font-size: 18px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Ensures appropriate and timely crisis intervention. Oversees after-hour mental health crisis calls, including the assignment of staff as deemed necessary to assist and support management of safety risks and/or mental health emergencies and occurrences.</li><li style=\"margin: 0in; font-size: 18px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Develops relationships and works collaboratively with local colleges and universities in the expansion of UGM&rsquo;s clinical counseling internship program.</li><li style=\"margin: 0in; font-size: 18px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Coordinates placement of high-performing bachelor and graduate level interns pursuing professional clinical licenses. Provides licensure supervision for UGM Clinical Therapists seeking to obtain advanced licensure (LCSW).</li><li style=\"margin: 0in; font-size: 18px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Documents weekly supervision of directly supervised interns and provides on-going training and support as determined necessary.</li><li style=\"margin: 0in; font-size: 18px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Recruits substance abuse group facilitators; supports and oversees groups and activities.</li><li style=\"margin: 0in; font-size: 18px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Fosters a culture of excellence and promotes continuous quality improvement results aimed at strengthening service quality by engaging Clinical Therapists in UGM-TC.</li><li style=\"margin: 0in; font-size: 18px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">In conjunction with the CHO, identifies key outputs, measurement tools, impact measures, program service targets related to the impact of services on clients served and indicators of quality-of-service delivery.</li></ol></div><ol start=\"15\" style=\"margin-bottom:0in;list-style-type: decimal;margin-left: 25.950000000000003px;\"><li style=\"margin: 0in; font-size: 18px; font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Utilizes internal mechanisms to collect and track timely completion of referrals.
