    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><span><strong>Job Summary</strong></span></p>\n<p><span>Under general supervision, set up, operate, and adjust various types of conventional or automatic machines and other precision equipment. Work from drawings and written instructions to Machine finished parts. Work is diversified and machining is performed to ordinary tolerances. Inspect all finished products to maintain high quality standard.</span></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><span><strong>Responsibility</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Responsible for maintaining production documents such as error check list and 5min check</span></li>\n <li><span>Shows understanding of all Quality process controls and documentation.</span></li>\n <li><span>Has the ability to use all the equipment safely and correctly</span></li>\n <li><span>Apply knowledge of machine shop theory and procedures, shop mathematics, machine ability of materials and layout techniques, using hand and power tools.</span></li>\n <li><span>Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished pieces, sequence of machining operations and set-up requirements</span></li>\n <li><span>Execution of SOS (safety, order, shine) as well as acting as a role model.</span></li>\n <li><span>Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjust machine controls or control media as required</span></li>\n <li><span>Responsible for quality checks at the correct frequencies and correctly logging the information as required.</span></li>\n <li><span>Responsible for daily documentation in shift log of the I+R</span></li>\n <li><span>Collaborate and work within continuous improvement teams on plant projects.</span></li>\n <li><span>Work to continuously improve all areas of productivity and reduce scrap.</span></li>\n <li><span>Verify dimensions of machined parts or tooling for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments such as; micrometers, verniers, calipers, height gauges, optical comparators, etc.</span></li>\n <li><span>Ability to learn new specifications and procedures through on-the-job training and experience</span></li>\n <li><span>Promote positive employee and company culture.</span></li>\n <li><span>Submit and implement lean and safety suggestions.</span></li>\n <li><span>Other duties as assigned.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><span><strong>Academic/Educational Requirements</strong></span></p>\n<p><span>High School Graduate or equivalent.</span></p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:.25in\">&nbsp;</p>\n<p><span><strong>Required Skills/Experience</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Two to four years of Machine Operator experience, preferred.</span></li>\n <li><span>Have the flexibility and willingness to learn and help in other areas of the factory.</span></li>\n <li><span>Assist other team members with troubleshooting and machine operations as needed and work in a team environment.</span></li>\n <li><span>Interpret blueprints and understand all features of a finished product.</span></li>\n <li><span>Interpret machine operations, gages, and functions to insure proper machine operation.</span></li>\n <li><span>Interact with all departments to seek clarification on unclear drawings or job instructions and to seek help when problems arise.
