As demand grows, we are seeking a skilled Plate Mounter to join our prepress department.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Summary</span></p>\n<p>The Plate Mounter is responsible for accurately mounting flexographic printing plates onto cylinders or sleeves according to specifications, ensuring precision for print registration and quality. This role plays a key part in minimizing downtime and ensuring that presses run smoothly.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review job orders and plate mounting specifications (e.g. plate type, size, orientation)</li>\n<li>Clean, inspect, and, if needed, make minor repairs to plates prior to mounting</li>\n<li>Apply mounting tape, align and mount plates on cylinders or sleeves with high precision</li>\n<li>Trim, proof, and perform quality control checks (registration, alignment, defects)</li>\n<li>Maintain and organize prepress/work area (plates, sleeves, tapes, etc.)</li>\n<li>Transport mounted plate assemblies to press staging area</li>\n<li>Clean mounting equipment, remove used plates, wash and dry plates as needed</li>\n<li>Record and report any defects, equipment issues, or discrepancies</li>\n<li>Adhere to safety, quality, and food‑safety/cleaning protocols if applicable</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma or equivalent (GED)</li>\n<li>Previous flexographic plate mounting or related prepress/graphics experience preferred, but training provided for the right candidate</li>\n<li>Basic math skills, ability to read rulers/tape measures to close tolerances</li>\n<li>Good attention to detail, ability to spot defects (wrinkles, backing issues, alignment problems)</li>\n<li>Ability to lift up to ~50‑75 lbs occasionally and to stand for prolonged periods</li>\n<li>Basic computer skills for documentation and job tracking</li>\n<li>Strong work ethic, punctual, good attendance</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Schedule &amp; Compensation</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Full time, Monday‑Thursday 2:20 pm to 12:20 am <br></li>\n<li>Starting wage<span> </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">$18.00+ an hour</span><span> </span>(depending on experience)</li>\n<li>Overtime as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Benefits</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Health, dental, vision insurance</li>\n<li>Retirement plan / 401(k) with match</li>\n<li>Paid holidays</li>\n<li>Paid time off (vacation)</li>\n<li>Training and growth opportunities</li>\n<li>Safe working environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
