Description Position Classification: Regular, full-time, hourly, non-exempt and benefit-eligible staff position. For more benefit information visit Why Work at UCO? The hourly rate is $16.80 which translates to $34,944.00 per year. General Schedule: The general schedule for this position is 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Position Overview: Provide secretarial and administrative support for all faculty and staff in the Psychology department. Responsible for the functioning of the office or department and maintaining a neat and welcoming environment. Initiates and handles correspondence relating to a department or program. Performs a variety of daily tasks and should be able to multi-task in a common area environment including greeting and directing students and guests in a welcoming manner. Produce documents of various levels of complexity, ranging from plain copy typing to the manipulation of data to create presentations. May make contacts of a sensitive, complex, and confidential nature. Responsible for providing various services to customers such as assisting customers, including students, in securing needed information and documents. Shall always maintain professional and cooperative attitude and relationships. Perform duties as assigned. Department Specific Essential Job Functions: Assist PSY with tasks that include coordination of appropriate documents and forms, keeping all records up to date and organized, and keeping the common spaces neat and organized. Responsible for assisting with budget management, tracking expenses, and p-card purchases. Facilitation of department travel for faculty/staff to include filling and submitting forms, registrations, and group travel coordination. Submitting requisitions and work orders, and other forms, tracking inventory and acting as building captain. Maintain and update schedule for Old North building first floor conference rooms. Schedules faculty meetings as requested and records notes. Orders and maintains inventory of supplies and equipment. Assist with coordination of department and program events and committee meetings. Assist with schedule build, faculty assignment sheets, budget, and related tasks. Complete annual UCO training and others as needed to perform job duties and as requested. Skill using computer programs (for example, Microsoft office 365, Banner, Paycom, Concur — travel software). Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required: Requires general education or vocational training and 5+ years of relevant experience. Must be customer service oriented and have a desire to work well with others, fostering a positive work environment. Experience in an educational environment. Qualifications Preferred: Two years of college or Bachelor's degree. Experience in a higher-education environment. 3+ years of experience in customer service, office management, bookkeeping or financial tracking. Experience with these computer programs: Microsoft Office 365, Banner, Paycom, Concur. Physical Demands: Reasonable accommodations (in accordance with ADA requirements) may be made, upon request, to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Perform duties as assigned.\\r\\n\\r\\nDepartment Specific Essential Job Functions:\\r\\n\\r\\nAssist PSY with tasks that include coordination of appropriate documents and forms, keeping all records up to date and organized, and keeping the common spaces neat and organized. &nbsp;\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n\\tResponsible for assisting with budget management, tracking expenses, and p-card purchases. \\r\\n\\tFacilitation of department travel for faculty/staff to include filling and submitting forms, registrations, and group travel coordination.\\r\\n\\tSubmitting requisitions and work orders, and other forms, tracking inventory and acting as building captain. \\r\\n\\tMaintain and update schedule for Old North building first floor conference rooms.\\r\\n\\tSchedules faculty meetings as requested and records notes.\\r\\n\\tOrders and maintains inventory of supplies and equipment.\\r\\n\\tAssist with coordination of department and program events and committee meetings.\\r\\n\\tAssist with schedule build, faculty assignment sheets, budget, and related tasks.\\r\\n\\tComplete annual UCO training and others as needed to perform job duties and as requested. \\r\\n\\tSkill using computer programs (for example, Microsoft office 365, Banner, Paycom, Concur &mdash; travel software).\\r\\n\\tOther duties as assigned.\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\nQualifications Required:\\r\\n\\r\\nRequires general education or vocational training and 5+ years of relevant experience. Must be customer service oriented and have a desire to work well with others, fostering a positive work environment. Experience in an educational environment.\\r\\n\\r\\nQualifications Preferred:\\r\\n\\r\\nTwo years of college or Bachelor&#39;s degree. Experience in a higher-education environment. 3+ years of experience in customer service, office management, bookkeeping or financial tracking.
