          "text": "<p>The Process Safety Management Lead is responsible for the implementation, management, and continuous<br>\nimprovement of the Process Safety Management (PSM) programs at the Veolia Beaumont<br>\nsite, in accordance with CFR 1910.119.&#xa0;&#xa0;This position will also support compliance with EPA’s Risk<br>\nManagement Program (RMP) 40 CFR Part 68.&#xa0;&#xa0;This position reports to the Beaumont site EHS<br>\nManager.<br>\n<br>\nAs a Process Safety Management Lead you will work to identify process safety risks within chemical<br>\nmanufacturing operations and will be responsible for developing, proposing, and implementing<br>\nmitigation strategies and programs.&#xa0;&#xa0;You will be responsible for establishing and continuously<br>\nimproving the Process Safety Management (PSM) programs at the site and supporting other<br>\ndepartments in complying with regulatory and Veolia process safety requirements. &#xa0;&#xa0;You will<br>\nlead and participate in incident investigations, root cause analyses, management of change (MOC),<br>\nprocesses hazard analysis (PHA) studies, and the implementation of corrective and preventive<br>\nactions.&#xa0;&#xa0;You will work closely with Production, Engineering, Technology, Global Process Chemistry<br>\nand other EHS functions in the Veolia business.</p><p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</p><ul><li>Develop and maintain Process Safety Management programs in compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA, EPA)</li><li>Define and track process safety metrics and analyze data from incident reports to improve PSM practices</li><li>Facilitate Process Hazard Analysis program, ensuring regulatory compliance with all elements of 29 CFR 1910.119</li><li>Develop and implement process hazards analysis (PHA) recommendations to reduce risk</li><li>Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses of process safety events, loss of containment, and near-miss events to identify root causes and recommend sustainable corrective actions</li><li>Support and facilitate risk assessments for Management of Change (MOC) and Pre-Startup Safety Review (PSSR) processes</li><li>Enhance our Contractor Management program.&#xa0;</li><li>Oversee and provide technical support for the Gensuite (EHS management system) Management of Change process&#xa0;</li><li>Support project teams to ensure all aspects of process safety are addressed in projects</li><li>Develop and deliver training programs for employees on internal process safety standards, guidelines, and industry best practices</li><li>Work closely with global support teams, including Technology, Process Chemistry, and Engineering to enhance process safety awareness and performance across the organization</li><li>Implement internal standards for hazardous processes (e.g. flammable materials, combustible dust handling and neutralization reactions)</li><li>Prepare detailed reports and presentations on process safety performance and recommendations for management review</li><li>Stay updated on changes in regulations and adjust PSM programs accordingly</li><li>Lead initiatives aimed at continuous improvement of process safety performance and overall operational excellence</li><li>Utilize technical expertise and industry knowledge to propose innovative solutions to safety challenges</li></ul>",

          "text": "<p>QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS</p><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Science, preferably Chemical Engineering</li><li>Minimum 15-20 years of experience in EHS, Engineering or related fields, with minimum of 3 years of progressive Process Safety Management (PSM) experience</li><li>Knowledge of OSHA PSM and EPA RMP regulatory requirements</li><li>Experience writing MOCs, participating in PHAs, leading RCAs, and leading PSSRs</li><li>Understanding of chemical plant processes and process hazards, including flammability, toxicity, reactivity, corrosivity, etc.</li><li>Initiative to drive continuous improvement in process safety management programs</li><li>Experience in conducting process safety training</li><li>Understanding of risk assessment and process hazard analysis processes</li><li>Fluent in English, with strong oral and written communication skills to interpret EPA, OSHA,&#xa0; and other regulations and liaise with a variety of stakeholders</li></ul><p>DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS</p><ul><li>Proficiency in HAZOP, What-If, LOPA, and/or QRA</li><li>Experience in Emergency Response</li><li>Familiar with NFPA 30</li><li>Familiar with WinCC or equivalent programs</li><li>Knowledge of SAP</li><li>Holds a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification</li></ul><p>Physical Requirements<br>\nAbility to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Safety Boots, Safety Clothing, Safety Helmet,<br>\nSafety Goggle/Glasses, Respirator, Gloves)</p>",
