Utilizes computer technology for data entry/retrieval and calculations.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Requires ability to operate a wide variety of small hand tools. Some degree of lifting and heavy work is common with the daily moving of equipment, machinery, samples and supplies.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Requires the knowledge of and the ability to operate a wide variety of standard lab and testing equipment.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&nbsp;Work is often carried out in teams with chemists and other technicians.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">May train other laboratory technicians.&nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>Educational Qualifications</u></strong>: Requires knowledge to include high school level, or college chemistry courses.
