Now we’re scaling our fleet. We’re looking for the right leader to own the cloud-to-field software ecosystem that powers, monitors, and optimizes our distributed energy assets. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant prior experience and/or education, or particular skills and expertise. New hires joining the company tend to be paid within the starting base pay range noted above, with opportunities to increase pay over time based on development of additional skills, competencies, and company-specific knowledge. You will lead the team building systems that: Ingest and process real-time telemetry from thousands of generators Enable secure remote monitoring, diagnostics, and control Power predictive maintenance and fleet analytics Maintain a scalable “single source of truth” data platform Govern DevSecOps and release management across R&D, manufacturing, and field deployments When our software works, customers stay powered. When it doesn’t, the stakes are real. Qualifications You are a systems thinker who understands that software decisions impact physical infrastructure. 10+ years in software engineering, including 5+ years in senior leadership Experience in Industrial IoT, energy systems, industrial automation, or fleet-scale device platforms Ownership of device-to-cloud architectures and large telemetry pipelines Deep experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure Expertise in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Spark) Experience leading DevSecOps and secure remote control systems A reliability-first mindset — 99% uptime isn’t good enough Proven track record of embedding AI into engineering workflows and product architecture — driving measurable gains in developer productivity , system reliability, data insight generation, and autonomous fleet optimization
