The ideal candidate will be hard-working, comfortable performing surgery as well as doing routine care, with a phenomenal bedside manner who treats our patients with exceptional care.</p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>Essential Functions</strong></u><strong>:</strong></p><ul><li>Examine patients’ legs and feet to diagnose diseases</li><li>Treat bone, muscle, and joint disorders affecting the feet and ankles</li><li>Perform surgical procedures as necessary along with wound care management as needed</li><li>Diagnose diseases and deformities of the foot and ankle using medical histories, physical examinations, x-rays, and laboratory test results</li><li>Prescribe medications, corrective devices, physical therapy, or surgery</li><li>Advise patients about treatments and foot and ankle care techniques necessary for prevention of future problems</li><li>Provide education/consultation to patients, family, and health care team</li><li>Provide health promotion and preventive medicine</li><li>Appropriately maintains medical records on assigned patients</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Current technology in the offices include:</strong></p><p>· Digital X-ray</p><p>· Diagnostic ultrasound</p><p>· Digital gait analysis</p><p>· CAD orthotic scanning and design</p><p>· CAM based in office orthotic lab</p><p>· EPAT shock wave therapy</p><p>· MLS class IV laser therapy</p><p>· MicroVAS electronic therapy</p><p>· SWIFT microwave for verruca</p><p>· Amniotic treatments for ulcers and musculoskeletal problems</p><p>· Web-based EMR</p><p><br></p><p>Staff development and education is important to our practice. We have regular training meetings for general staff.
