This position is part of the Academic Success Center’s efforts to foster student success through peer-to-peer learning.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide tutoring in approved subjects to individual students or small groups.</li><li>Assist students in developing strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills.</li><li>Manage tutoring sessions independently, including scheduling and maintaining a positive, professional rapport with students.</li><li>Attend required training sessions and staff meetings.</li><li>Adhere strictly to college guidelines regarding hiring, payroll, confidentiality, and tutoring protocols.</li><li>Maintain accurate and timely communication with the supervisor about student progress and challenges.</li><li>Seek supervisor approval before taking on tasks outside of regular tutoring duties.</li><li>Represent Keuka College professionally, maintaining a courteous and respectful attitude toward all community members.</li><li>Comply with FERPA regulations to maintain student confidentiality.</li><li>Demonstrate regular, reliable attendance and complete other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Physical &amp; Scheduling Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Evening and weekend availability is required.</li><li>Attendance at training sessions and ongoing development is expected.</li></ul>",
