    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Returning Summer Adventure Guide </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Training begins in May 2026 Season ends Mid August 2026</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">The objective of an adventure guide is to live out and express the mission, vision and core values of Rock-N-Water to each guest through safely guiding a variety of outdoor adventures, camp activities, and serving the variety of people who come visit us with the goal of challenging them to grow personally, relationally, and spiritually. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">These are just a few of the general qualifications and physical requirements we place on our adventure staff.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Qualifications </span></p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Possess a passion for following Jesus and leading others to see, know and experience him. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Christian camping or other ministry experience </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Has gone through Rock-N-Water Guide School (or will if a former Trainee) </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Be 18 years of age or older</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Agreement and compliance with camp Mission, Vision, Values, Staff Handbook, and Doctrinal Statement </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Wilderness First aid and CPR certified </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Valid California Drivers license</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Has or will become ServSafe Food Handlers Certified (provided) </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Proficiency in all adventure areas: guiding class III whitewater, setting top rope climbs and rappel stations, guiding top rope and rappel stations, guiding canyoneering trips, leading team building activities, and guiding backpacking trips. </span></li>\n</ol>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\"> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Physical Requirements</span></span></p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Abilities sufficient to carry out the essential functions of the job – to include leaning, bending over, stooping, reaching, pulling, pushing, squatting, lifting, carrying, holding, and moving heavy objects</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Able to swim 250 yards</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Able to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Able to run 3 miles in under 30 minutes </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Must be able to lift, hold, carry a minimum of 40 pounds and carry for long periods of time</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Able to perform at least 1 pull-up</span></li>\n</ol>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Statement of Faith</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">The Statement of Faith outlines the beliefs of TM Camping. All beliefs are listed and founded in God's Word, the Bible. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Preamble</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">TM Camping, in accordance with the historic Baptist tradition, holds to Believers Baptism by Immersion, Liberty of Conscience, the Separation of Church and state, and the Priesthood of the Believer. We also affirm the following distinctive which need emphasis at the present time:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">I.  THE AUTHORITY OF SCRIPTURE</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">The Bible is the inspired, authoritative and infallible Word of God and is our sole rule of faith and practice. It is the standard by which all human conduct and creeds should be tried.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">II.  THE TRINITY</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">There is only one true and living God who is manifested in three eternal and coequal persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  God possesses holiness, omnipotence, omniscience, omnipresence, love, mercy, and all other perfections.  All humankind owed to Him supreme faith and obedience.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">III.  HUMANKIND</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Humankind has been created in the image of God but through Adam’s fall is now sinful, lost and condemned. By deliberate choice all participate in sin which is open rebellion to God’s law. Notwithstanding the fall, all human life through creation has value and dignity.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">IV.  JUSTIFICATION BY FAITH</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Human beings can be forgiven of sin and justified solely through the redeeming work of Jesus Christ who died for sinners and rose again from the dead.  Only by repentance from sin and faith in Jesus Christ the Lord can acceptance with God be attained.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">V.  REGENERATION</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Regeneration is the work of the Holy Spirit by which the believer receives a new nature from God. Christian growth or sanctification is the continuation of the new life principle which begins in the new birth.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">VI.  THE CHURCH</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">The church in its widest sense includes all believers of all ages. The church is manifested visibly in the local body of baptized believers who covenant together to worship, observe the ordinances, and evangelize.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">VII.  HUMAN DESTINY</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Jesus Christ will eventually return visibly at which time He will raise the dead and judge all people. Believers will enjoy an eternal state of blessedness in heaven while unbelievers will experience eternal separation from God in hell.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">VIII.  EVANGELISM AND SOCIAL CONCERN</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">The church has been called to preach the gospel so that individual people can receive salvation. Also the church is to become involved in the improvement of society by advocating biblical principles which militate against poverty, racism, violence, and all forms of injustice against humankind.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">IX.  HUMAN SEXUALITY</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">God’s design is that man and woman either be joined together in a perpetual monogamous relationship or live in a single state. Extra-marital sex, adultery and homosexuality are inconsistent with biblical teaching.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">Faith History </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">At TM Camping we desire to have a distinctly Christian atmosphere and influence. Though campers and attendees come from many Christian and non-Christian backgrounds, all are included in chapel services, prayer, devotions, etc. Ministry team members participate in leading campers, attendees and other staff in these and other Christian activities. In addition, no matter where one works, all staff are expected to live exemplary Christian lives before campers and staff alike. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">In applying for a ministry staff or management position, you are subscribing to a high moral, ethical and spiritual lifestyle and give assurance that you will try to lead campers and staff, in both word and deed, to practical, real faith for themselves.
