    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><p><strong>About the Role:</strong></p><p>The Parts Driver plays a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive the right parts and equipment in a timely manner. This position involves transporting parts to various locations, including service departments and customer sites, while maintaining a high level of customer service. The Parts Driver is responsible for managing inventory and ensuring that all parts are delivered accurately and efficiently. Additionally, this role requires adherence to safety protocols and company policies during transportation. Ultimately, the success of the Parts Driver contributes to the overall satisfaction of our customers and the smooth operation of our retail trade business.</p><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Valid driver&#39;s license with a clean driving record.</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Ability to understand and follow instructions accurately.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in the automotive or retail trade industry.</li><li>Familiarity with automotive parts&nbsp;</li><li>Proficiency in reading maps and GPS services</li></ul><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Picks up and delivers parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors.</li><li>Checks with the parts manager, wholesale representative, inventory control administrator, parts counter people or shipping and receiving clerk before leaving to coordinate any last-minute pick-ups or deliveries.</li><li>Checks with the body shop each day to determine immediate parts needs.</li><li>Delivers parts to body shop when needed and distributes to appropriate body technicians.</li><li>Verifies that invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up.</li><li>Checks payments received with the invoices for each delivery.</li><li>Keeps an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups. Requests recipient&#39;s signature on each delivery entry.</li><li>Unloads truck each night. Turns in all paperwork and undelivered parts.</li><li>Handles basic maintenance of the truck including filling tank with gas, checking oil, keeping it clean and making sure required inspections are performed.</li><li>Advises parts manager if delivery trucks need major repairs and maintenance.</li><li>Help maintain the professional appearance of the parts department.</li><li>Assists service department as needed with attendant responsibilities of managing the drop-off and pick-up of customers&#39; cars.</li><li>Helps with stocking and posting orders when they arrive to expedite delivery to shop technicians and wholesale accounts.</li><li>Maintains professional appearance.</li><li>Other tasks as assigned.</li></ul></div><p><strong>Skills:</strong></p><p>The required skills for this position, such as understanding and following instructions, are essential for ensuring that deliveries are made accurately and efficiently.
