This position is onsite and project-based, meaning the Safety Coordinator will be assigned to a job site for the duration of the project and must be comfortable living where the work is located. This role is ideal for a hands-on safety leader who enjoys working directly with crews, solving problems in real time, and teaching safety in the field.</p><h3 data-start=\"676\" data-end=\"697\">Position Overview</h3><p data-start=\"698\" data-end=\"1079\">The Traveling Safety Coordinator will be embedded with RIS installation teams at assigned job sites, working alongside crews daily to promote and maintain a strong safety culture. This is not a remote <strong data-start=\"840\" data-end=\"877\" data-pasted=\"true\">or&nbsp;</strong>office-based role. The ideal candidate leads by example, collaborates closely with project leadership and customers, and is passionate about practical, solutions-focused safety.</p><h3 data-start=\"1081\" data-end=\"1105\">Key Responsibilities</h3><ul data-start=\"1106\" data-end=\"2568\"><li data-start=\"1106\" data-end=\"1184\"><p data-start=\"1108\" data-end=\"1184\">Be onsite full-time at assigned job sites for the duration of each project</p></li><li data-start=\"1185\" data-end=\"1251\"><p data-start=\"1187\" data-end=\"1251\">Live where the work is located and relocate as projects change</p></li><li data-start=\"1252\" data-end=\"1336\"><p data-start=\"1254\" data-end=\"1336\">Actively participate in daily field operations while overseeing safety practices</p></li><li data-start=\"1337\" data-end=\"1406\"><p data-start=\"1339\" data-end=\"1406\">Lead, promote, and model a proactive, team-focused safety culture</p></li><li data-start=\"1407\" data-end=\"1487\"><p data-start=\"1409\" data-end=\"1487\">Conduct safety orientations, toolbox talks, and job-specific safety training</p></li><li data-start=\"1488\" data-end=\"1546\"><p data-start=\"1490\" data-end=\"1546\">Conduct power equipment training for all new employees</p></li><li data-start=\"1547\" data-end=\"1631\"><p data-start=\"1549\" data-end=\"1631\">Teach, coach, and mentor employees on safe work practices and hazard recognition</p></li><li data-start=\"1632\" data-end=\"1715\"><p data-start=\"1634\" data-end=\"1715\">Complete and maintain JSAs and JHAs (Job Safety Analysis / Job Hazard Analysis)</p></li><li data-start=\"1716\" data-end=\"1884\"><p data-start=\"1718\" data-end=\"1801\">Perform daily job site safety audits to ensure customer and regulatory compliance- <strong>Examples include LO/TO compliance, live work permits, hot work permits, etc.</strong></p></li><li data-start=\"1885\" data-end=\"1978\"><p data-start=\"1887\" data-end=\"1978\">Partner with the Project Leader to ensure work areas are safe for employees and customers</p></li><li data-start=\"1979\" data-end=\"2142\"><p data-start=\"1981\" data-end=\"2051\">Serve as the go-to safety resource when questions arise in the field- <strong>Example: determining when to use yellow caution tape vs. red tape to barricade areas</strong></p></li><li data-start=\"2143\" data-end=\"2231\"><p data-start=\"2145\" data-end=\"2231\">Inspect all tools and equipment used by RIS employees to ensure proper functionality</p></li><li data-start=\"2232\" data-end=\"2284\"><p data-start=\"2234\" data-end=\"2284\">Submit daily inspection and safety documentation</p></li><li data-start=\"2285\" data-end=\"2398\"><p data-start=\"2287\" data-end=\"2398\">Communicate hazards, concerns, and corrective actions to the Director of Safety, Project Managers, and Customers</p></li><li data-start=\"2399\" data-end=\"2471\"><p data-start=\"2401\" data-end=\"2471\">Assist with incident investigations and follow-up corrective actions</p></li><li data-start=\"2472\" data-end=\"2568\"><p data-start=\"2474\" data-end=\"2568\">Be part of the solution &mdash;
