Teche Action Clinic, A Federally Qualified Health Center, per Section 330 of the Public Health Service Act. Ideal candidates will have a passion for serving the underserved in a rural healthcare setting and be able to work as a team player in building a strong practice. This position will cover Houma East (Dulac) and Houma Clinics.</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p>The primary responsibility of this position is to provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management.&nbsp;Providing direct patient care at the assigned service sites, which are in Gramercy, LA and School-Based Health Centers in St. John and St. James Parishes, will be a requirement of this position. Collaboration with other treatment staff (licensed professional counselors, nurses, etc.) will also be a requirement of this position. Most of your time will be spent in direct care with reasonable time provided for documentation and consultation with our collaborating psychiatrist and clinical staff. This position requires previous experience and skill in providing excellent care.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p>This position requires an unrestricted license in the State of Louisiana and full prescriptive authority.
