          "text": "<p>All Care Therapies is&#xa0;currently seeking a&#xa0;<strong>Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)</strong>&#xa0;to join our team in a dynamic <strong>outpatient clinic in Katy, TX&#xa0;</strong>setting! &#xa0;We are looking for a clinician to deliver compassionate&#xa0;care&#xa0;to our&#xa0;<strong>pediatric</strong>&#xa0;patients, contribute to the multidisciplinary team, and collaborate with families to deliver a plan of&#xa0;care.<strong>&#xa0;Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred.&#xa0;</strong></p><p><em>Offering up to $3,000 sign on / relocation bonus!&#xa0;</em></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Treat clients by using therapeutic and self-care activities designed to improve function under the direction of the licensed occupational therapist (OTR).</li><li>Monitor the clients’ activities to make sure they are performing them correctly and to offer encouragement and suggestions to improve performance.</li><li>Contribute to supervision meetings with OTR and collaborate on progress reports and status updates.&#xa0;&#xa0;</li><li>Document client’s session results in the SOAP note format using point of service documentation.&#xa0;&#xa0;</li><li>Instruct clients, their families and any other caregivers in skills and techniques of the client’s treatment program, under supervision of the Occupational Therapist.</li><li>Demonstrate exercises that can help clients perform everyday tasks&#xa0;better and progress towards their goals.</li><li>Verifies client information by interviewing client, reviewing, and recording changes to medical history, confirming purpose of treatment.</li><li>Follows plan of care developed by occupational therapist &amp; collaborates on changes to the POC.&#xa0;&#xa0;</li><li>Direct teaching of therapy&#xa0;techniques, such as positioning techniques, environmental adaptations and strengthening activities.</li><li>Maintains occupational therapy records by recording client’s progress for use by the occupational therapist.</li><li>Generates revenues by recording billing information of services rendered.</li><li>Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.</li><li>Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting with others, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and&#xa0;removing equipment in need of repair.&#xa0;</li><li>Notify management of dwindling supplies or equipment needs.&#xa0;&#xa0;</li><li>Serves and protects the occupational therapy practice by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.</li></ul>",
