Discover all the possibilities of a career at Northside today.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The Medical Technologist for Northside Hospital’s Choice+ Local Program develops and monitors test systems, and performs and interprets laboratory tests for the diagnosis and care of neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>REQUIRED</u></strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution, and applicants must be eligible for an appropriate certification examination.<li>Acceptable certifying agencies include ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, HHS (HEW)</li></li>\n<p>OR</p>\n<li>Associate's degree in laboratory science (Chemical or Biological Science) or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution and certification as a Medical Technologist, Medical Laboratory Scientist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist.<li>Acceptable certifying agencies include ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, HHS (HEW)</li></li>\n<p>OR</p>\n<p> </p>\n<li> Graduate of a Military Program in Science (health science, biology, chemical, physical, medical technology) and certification as a Medical Technologist, Medical Laboratory Scientist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist.</li>\n<li>Acceptable certifying agencies include ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, HHS (HEW)</li>\n<li>Ability to implement and perform clinical laboratory procedures according to proper standards and regulations.</li>\n<li>Personnel must submit to a color-acuity screening test prior to performing duties</li>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>PREFERRED</u></strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<li>Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.</li>\n<li>Must meet competency level requirements for the Choice+ Local Program.</li>\n<h2>Work Hours:</h2>7a-7p\n<h2>Weekend Requirements:</h2>Yes",
