Our radiology services are certified by the American College of Radiology in Computerized Tomography (CT), Mammography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound. For more information, visit ClaiborneMedicalCenter.com.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p>\n<p>Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit; coordinates care planning with other disciplines.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>In this position, RNs must commit to working hours set by the Tier 2 commitment agreement.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>RNs with less than 1 year of Nursing experience will:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<li> Completes nursing history and initiates patient education. </li>\n<li> Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members. </li>\n<li> Implements plan of care appropriate to diagnosis. Evaluates care outcomes. </li>\n<li> Problem solves and coordinates unit/patient care assignments, with supervision. </li>\n<li> Introduces new employees/students to unit routines. </li>\n<li> Participates on unit-based committees. </li>\n<li> Demonstrates competence in performing critical skills (checklist) to include appropriate delivery of care according to the age-specific needs of the population served.</li>\n<li> Supervises LPNs, Nursing Assistants, HUCs, Techs and sitters.</li>\n<li> Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives, and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested.</li>\n<li> Performs other duties as assigned.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<p>In addition to the duties above, RNs with 1 or more years of experience are required to:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<li> Correlates patient history and support systems within hospital care/nursing home care.</li>\n<li> Assesses learning needs of patient and family.</li>\n<li> Develops and initiates plan of care, involving patient and family.</li>\n<li> Recommends interventions.</li>\n<li> Evaluates plan of care.</li>\n<li> Resolves problems regarding moderately complex issues without oversight or supervision.</li>\n<li> Demonstrates willingness to precept employees/students as directed. Reviews clinical performance of preceptee with unit leader or clinical instructor.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Education:</strong>            </p>\n<p>None specified; however, must be sufficient to meet the standards for achievement of the below indicated license and/or certification as required by the issuing authority.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Minimum Experience:</strong>          </p>\n<p>New graduate, within first (1st) year of orientation </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Licensure Requirement:       </strong></p>\n<p>Must have and maintain Tennessee State RN license. </p>\n<p> </p>",
