The scope of procedures includes a diverse range of specialties: Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT), Cataract and Retinal Eye surgeries, Gynecologic, Laparoscopic and Endoscopic, Orthopedic, Pain Management, Plastic and Reconstructive, and Gastroenterological surgeries. The majority of cases are general and orthopedic. Surgical operations are conducted Monday through Friday, with additional night, weekend, and holiday call rotations to ensure continuous coverage.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>How you’ll contribute</strong><br>&nbsp;</p><p>A&nbsp;<strong>Central Sterile Technician&nbsp;</strong>who excels in this role:</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc; padding-left: 48px;\"><li><span style=\"font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;\">Provides inspection, decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of instruments and other patient care equipment in accordance with processing guidelines, AAMI, AORN, TJC, and OSHA requirements.</span><br>&nbsp;</li><li><p data-start=\"341\" data-end=\"565\"><span style=\"font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;\">Provides processing and documentation of all sterile supplies and equipment daily using chemical, biological and mechanical indicators to verify sterility in accordance with manufacturer instructions and hospital policy.</span><br>&nbsp;</p></li><li><p data-start=\"567\" data-end=\"722\"><span style=\"font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;\"><span>&nbsp;</span>Provides monitoring and performance of antimicrobial and disinfection solutions testing according to manufacturer instructions and daily documentation.</span><br>&nbsp;</p></li><li><p data-start=\"724\" data-end=\"842\"><span style=\"font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;\">Provides operation of departmental equipment daily according to manufacturer instructions with emphasis on safety.</span><br>&nbsp;</p></li><li><p data-start=\"844\" data-end=\"984\"><span style=\"font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;\">Provides management of inventory levels of sterile supplies, ensuring all items are properly stored, tracked, and replenished as needed.</span><br>&nbsp;</p></li><li><p data-start=\"986\" data-end=\"1107\"><span style=\"font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;\"><span>&nbsp;</span>Provides maintenance of accurate documentation of sterilization cycles, equipment maintenance, and inventory records.</span><br>&nbsp;</p></li><li><p data-start=\"1109\" data-end=\"1235\"><span style=\"font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;\">Provides collaboration with surgical teams to ensure all necessary sterile supplies are available for upcoming procedures.</span><br>&nbsp;</p></li><li><p data-start=\"1237\" data-end=\"1315\"><span style=\"font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;\">Provides customer service to all departments with a focus on patient needs.</span></p></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Schedule:</strong> &nbsp;Full-time, Rotating</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Why join us</strong></p><p>We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
