    "description": "<h2> </h2>\n<p>At Alcami, we deliver reliable solutions that unlock the potential of transformative medicines from discovery to commercialization, through trusted partnership with our clients, recognized industry expertise and proven regulatory track record.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Are you interested in joining our team?</p>\n<h2>Job Summary</h2>\n<p>The Facilities Technician is responsible for routine and preventive maintenance including troubleshooting, repair/replacement of facilities equipment.</p>\n<h2>On-Site Expectations</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>100% on-site position.</li>\n <li>1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs routine carpentry, electrical and plumbing tasks.</li>\n <li>General maintenance duties such as replacing light bulbs, installing/repairing items, painting, moving equipment or furniture, general upkeep of the facility, etc.</li>\n <li>Ensures major equipment and furnishings are maintained in safe, operable condition and/or arrange for replacement.</li>\n <li>Ensures that the facility is maintained in accordance with relevant regulations and fiscal consideration.</li>\n <li>Maintains tools & maintenance equipment in working order and keeps maintenance room in neat condition.</li>\n <li>Identify, and maintain an inventory of spare parts for applicable Alcami equipment.</li>\n <li>Perform PM’s and regular maintenance on Alcami’s back-up generators.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot and repair/maintain complex equipment.</li>\n <li>Runs low voltage lines.</li>\n <li>Lead projects, perform work and/or coordinate work with other team members/departments or outside contractors as needed to complete projects.</li>\n <li>Work with and coordinate with the other trades on the Facilities team.</li>\n <li>Comply with all policies and work instructions.</li>\n <li>Maintain good housekeeping practices and participate in 5S activities.</li>\n <li>Projects as assigned.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>1-3 years of Facilities Maintenance experience.</li>\n <li>High School diploma, Military, Technical School, or Associate’s Degree.</li>\n <li>Experience in plumbing, electrical, and construction.</li>\n <li>Computer literacy especially in Microsoft Windows, Word, and Outlook.</li>\n <li>Valid Motor Vehicle Operator’s license.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and is comfortable working in a team environment.</li>\n <li>Construction, electrical, and plumbing skills.</li>\n <li>Good written and verbal communication skills.</li>\n <li>Good reporting and documentation skills.</li>\n <li>Attention to detail and accuracy are essential.</li>\n <li>Good organizational skills.</li>\n <li>Computer literacy especially in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of GMP/GLP and ISO 9001 is a plus.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Travel Expectations</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Up to 5% travel required to all sites in local area. Valid driver's license required for travel.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Physical Demands and Work Environment</h2>\n<p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually very quiet.</p>\n<p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee will be required to wear the appropriate personal protective equipment for specific job duties to be performed. Such personal protective equipment may include, but not limited to safety eyewear, hearing protection, various types of respirators/breathing apparatus, lab coats, full protective body coverings, various types of gloves, etc. Other tasks involving elevated work may require the use of a body harness and lanyard. Additionally, the employee may be required to operate an industrial vehicle.</p>\n<p> </p>Pay Range The base\n<strong> </strong>salary pay range for this position is $21.54 – $25.41\n<strong> </strong>per year. Actual base salary will be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, competencies, and experience, and upon joining Alcami will be reviewed periodically.
