    "description": "<p>Sentry is seeking a Saw Operator to support our Manufacturing Division in producing precision-cut materials for fabrication, structural steel, and custom-built systems. This role plays a key part in our in-house manufacturing operation, ensuring materials are cut accurately and ready for welding, machining, and assembly.\n \nThis is a great opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail, solid tape measure skills, and a positive attitude. We are willing to train the right candidate.\n \nKey Responsibilities\n- Operate band saws and other cutting equipment to cut steel, tubing, and structural materials\n- Measure and cut materials to exact specifications using a tape measure and cut lists\n- Read and follow shop drawings and production instructions\n- Maintain tight tolerances to support fabrication and CNC machining processes\n- Load, unload, and stage materials for production (forklift or crane experience is a plus)\n- Perform basic equipment maintenance including blade changes and adjustments\n- Organize cut materials for welders, fabricators, and assembly teams\n- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area\n \nWhat We’re Looking For\n- Close attention to detail\n- Strong tape measure skills required\n- Positive attitude and strong work ethic\n- Willingness to learn and be trained\n- Mechanical aptitude\n- Ability to work on your feet and lift materials throughout the day\n \nPreferred (Not Required)\n- Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or construction\n- Experience working with steel or metal materials\n- Forklift or material handling experience\n- Experience operating saws or similar equipment\n \nPay\n$18–$24/hour, depending on experience\n \nWhy Sentry\nSentry is a self-performing general contractor and full-service EPC contractor with in-house manufacturing, structural steel, electrical, mechanical, and field service divisions.\n \nOur Manufacturing Division supports projects from concept through completion, delivering custom-built components, structural systems, and integrated assemblies.\n \nWe are growing and actively building a team of driven individuals who take pride in their work and want to be part of a company that does things differently.\n \nTo Apply\nSubmit your resume.</p>",
