    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p></p>\n<p>Opportunity for a Senior Health & Safety Campus Lead in Netherlands.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Senior Health & Safety Campus Lead provides direct operational support to project teams, ensuring health, safety, environment, quality and wellbeing standards are applied consistently on site.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>John Sisk & Son have been building excellence as a family-owned international construction company by offering trust, certainty and value to our clients whilst being at the heart of change.  </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrate exceptional H&S leadership at a campus level by your beliefs and behaviours</li>\n <li>Provide support and direction to the Campus Project Director and Project Manager</li>\n <li>Be the interface with the Campus Client and/or their representatives for H&S matters</li>\n <li>Lead and provide line management to a team (2-4) of Campus based H&S Managers</li>\n <li>Assist Head of H&S and Business Unit H&S Manger in roll out of company Strategy</li>\n <li>Ensure consistent implementation of company standards, procedures, policies and expectations; including identifying variances and equivalents needed due to working outside Ireland / UK</li>\n <li>Ensure workplaces receive Health Checks, Inspections and Risk Reviews at specified frequencies and with intrusiveness in accordance with Policy and Direction. Raise “at risk” / early intervention concerns to Head of H&S and Business Unit H&S Manger when needed.</li>\n <li>Ensure accidents/incidents are investigated and lessons learnt communicated.</li>\n <li>Monitor Health and Safety performance within the Campus and prepare appropriate reports.</li>\n <li>Prepare a Health and Safety report for the Campus at applicable internals.</li>\n <li>Ensure adequate cover for Health and Safety is provided and alert the BU H&S Manager if this is likely to become a problem.</li>\n <li>Provide main point of contact for enforcement agencies following their visits or investigations.</li>\n <li>Keep up to date with legislation and interpretations thereof to facilitate the provision of competent Health and Safety advice to the business.</li>\n <li>Be aware of own limitations and ensure advise given remains within those limitations.  Call in additional support to supplement own abilities where required.</li>\n <li>Identify learning and development requirements for yourself as well as those of staff who report to you</li>\n <li>Coach staff at all levels in Health and Safety expectations and standards</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Experience</h2>\n<p><strong>Experience</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Communicate clearly, both orally & in writing</li>\n <li>CMIOSH & member of IEMA (or equivalent)</li>\n <li>At least 12 years in construction industry</li>\n <li>At least 12 years as a Health and Safety professional</li>\n <li>Use influence and empathy for relevant occasions.</li>\n <li>Proficient IT skills</li>\n <li>Have an instinct to anticipate change.</li>\n <li>Show collaboration and consensus in team tasks & client relationships.</li>\n <li>Capacity to stretch performance requirements.</li>\n <li>Monitoring and managing performance.</li>\n <li>Be innovative.</li>\n <li>Interpersonal & engaging skills</li>\n <li>Time Management</li>\n <li>Organisation Skills</li>\n <li>Assertiveness</li>\n <li>Leadership</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Training & Skills</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Managing & developing direct reports</li>\n <li>NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.</li>\n <li>Member of IEMA or equivalent</li>\n <li>Lead Auditor or equivalent</li>\n <li>Mandatory aspects of Sisk L & D directory.</li>\n <li>Extracurricular exposure to a related Health and Safety specialism e.g. BBS, Occ Health, BIM etc.</li>\n <li>Ideally a qualification in engineering or construction technology / management.</li>\n <li>Awareness of lifting operations: BS 7121/ IS 361 (or in country equivalent).</li>\n <li>Temp Works Awareness</li>\n <li>Incident Investigation Training</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Additional Information</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Salary</li>\n <li>26 days annual leave </li>\n <li>Pension and benefits</li>\n <li>Unlimited learning and development opportunities</li>\n <li>Much more</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Our People and Recruitment Commitment</strong></p>\n<p>At Sisk Group our people are at the heart of our success.
