Remote or hybrid arrangements are not offered at this time.</p><p><strong>San Diego, CA</strong></p><hr data-start=\"205\" data-end=\"208\"><h3 data-start=\"210\" data-end=\"251\">General Duties and Responsibilities</h3><p data-start=\"253\" data-end=\"563\">The Financial Systems Analyst III provides financial management and analytical support to a branch, office, organization, or department. This role supports planning, budgeting, reporting, and analysis activities to ensure sound financial decision-making and compliance with applicable policies and regulations.</p><p data-start=\"565\" data-end=\"594\">Key responsibilities include:</p><ul data-start=\"596\" data-end=\"2030\"><li data-start=\"596\" data-end=\"676\"><p data-start=\"598\" data-end=\"676\">Provide advice and technical assistance in the preparation of annual budgets</p></li><li data-start=\"677\" data-end=\"847\"><p data-start=\"679\" data-end=\"847\">Analyze and evaluate budget estimates and proposals for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives</p></li><li data-start=\"848\" data-end=\"944\"><p data-start=\"850\" data-end=\"944\">Measure organizational performance and assess the impact of programs and policies on budgets</p></li><li data-start=\"945\" data-end=\"1064\"><p data-start=\"947\" data-end=\"1064\">Conduct cost-benefit analyses to evaluate financial requests, program tradeoffs, and alternative funding strategies</p></li><li data-start=\"1065\" data-end=\"1177\"><p data-start=\"1067\" data-end=\"1177\">Review past and current budgets and research economic and financial trends affecting organizational spending</p></li><li data-start=\"1178\" data-end=\"1282\"><p data-start=\"1180\" data-end=\"1282\">Develop and maintain guidelines, policies, and procedures governing budget formulation and execution</p></li><li data-start=\"1283\" data-end=\"1379\"><p data-start=\"1285\" data-end=\"1379\">Coordinate financial activities and reporting across multiple stakeholders and organizations</p></li><li data-start=\"1380\" data-end=\"1450\"><p data-start=\"1382\" data-end=\"1450\">Manage and track funding across multiple funding types and sources</p></li><li data-start=\"1451\" data-end=\"1541\"><p data-start=\"1453\" data-end=\"1541\">Monitor budgets, costs, and variances; identify risks and recommend corrective actions</p></li><li data-start=\"1542\" data-end=\"1603\"><p data-start=\"1544\" data-end=\"1603\">Prepare executive-level summaries, briefings, and reports</p></li><li data-start=\"1604\" data-end=\"1684\"><p data-start=\"1606\" data-end=\"1684\">Perform financial reporting and analysis in support of customer requirements</p></li><li data-start=\"1685\" data-end=\"1774\"><p data-start=\"1687\" data-end=\"1774\">Develop and propose courses of action (COAs) and recommendations for financial issues</p></li><li data-start=\"1775\" data-end=\"1919\"><p data-start=\"1777\" data-end=\"1919\">Interpret and apply financial management principles, processes, techniques, and regulations in alignment with organizational strategic goals</p></li><li data-start=\"1920\" data-end=\"2030\"><p data-start=\"1922\" data-end=\"2030\">May conduct training for company or government personnel on new or updated budget and financial procedures</p></li></ul><hr data-start=\"2032\" data-end=\"2035\"><h3 data-start=\"2037\" data-end=\"2067\">Education and Experience</h3><ul data-start=\"2069\" data-end=\"2187\"><li data-start=\"2069\" data-end=\"2099\"><p data-start=\"2071\" data-end=\"2099\">Bachelor&rsquo;s degree required</p></li><li data-start=\"2100\" data-end=\"2187\"><p data-start=\"2102\" data-end=\"2187\">Minimum of 7 years of relevant financial management or financial systems experience</p></li></ul><hr data-start=\"2189\" data-end=\"2192\"><h3 data-start=\"2194\" data-end=\"2209\">Clearance</h3><ul data-start=\"2211\" data-end=\"2339\"><li data-start=\"2211\" data-end=\"2278\"><p data-start=\"2213\" data-end=\"2278\">Active government Secret security clearance preferred but not required</p></li><li data-start=\"2279\" data-end=\"2339\"><p data-start=\"2281\" data-end=\"2339\">Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a clearance</p></li></ul><p><br></p><p data-start=\"2281\" data-end=\"2339\">ShadowObjects, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
