    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The Opportunity:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Gemini Water is seeking a dynamic and solutions-oriented Wastewater Process Engineer for their Gainesville office to support the design, implementation, and optimization of water and wastewater treatment systems across a range of projects, including remote and international locations.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys both technical design and hands-on involvement in project execution. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering practical, efficient, and sustainable treatment solutions, often in fast-paced or resource-constrained environments. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients to ensure successful project delivery from concept through commissioning and operational support.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Job Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design and optimize wastewater treatment processes, including biological, chemical, and physical treatment systems (e.g., activated sludge, MBR, MBBR, filtration, disinfection)</li>\n<li>Support the development of process design criteria, PFDs, P&amp;IDs, and technical specifications</li>\n<li>Contribute to the implementation and deployment of packaged and decentralized treatment systems</li>\n<li>Provide hands-on support during installation, commissioning, start-up, and troubleshooting of treatment systems</li>\n<li>Conduct process modeling, analysis, and troubleshooting to improve system performance</li>\n<li>Participate in pilot studies, commissioning, and start-up of treatment systems</li>\n<li>Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure successful project delivery on time and within scope</li>\n<li>Provide technical support during construction, commissioning, and operational phases</li>\n<li>Interface with clients to understand operational needs and provide practical, fit-for-purpose solutions</li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with applicable environmental regulations, standards, and client requirements across different jurisdictions</li>\n<li>Prepare technical reports, proposals, and documentation</li>\n<li>Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and innovation within water and wastewater treatment processes</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Qualifications, Education, and Skills:</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental or Civil Engineering, or a related field</li>\n<li>Minimum of five plus (5+) years of experience in wastewater treatment process design and/or operations or commissioning</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of wastewater treatment processes, particularly biological systems (e.g., activated sludge, MBR, MBBR)</li>\n<li>Experience with decentralized or packaged treatment systems is an asset</li>\n<li>Ability to physically implement designs</li>\n<li>Experience with process modeling tools and engineering design software is an asset</li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to support both design and field execution (commissioning, troubleshooting, start-up)</li>\n<li>Knowledge of applicable environmental regulations and industry standards</li>\n<li>Strong problem-solving skills with a practical, hands-on approach to engineering challenges</li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>\n<li>Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams</li>\n<li>Experience in industrial or remote water treatment projects is considered an asset</li>\n<li>Professional Engineer (PE) designation or eligibility is preferred</li>\n<li>Familiarity with environmental regulations and standards across different regions is an asset</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Willingness and ability to travel, including extended periods away from your normal workplace and to project sites in remote or international locations, as required</li>\n<li>Demonstrates a proven track record of adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment</li>\n<li>Possession of a valid driver's license, access to a reliable vehicle, and a valid U.S. passport</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About Gemini Water LLC:</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Gemini Water, a BluMetric Company, founded in 2015, brings over a decade of experience delivering advanced water and wastewater treatment solutions for remote and challenging environments.
