The Supplier Quality Engineer will participate and lead MRB activities, manage supplier performance, perform source inspections & audits, and manage NPI verification activites. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree with 2+ years of supplier quality experience in a manufacturing environment.</p>\n<h2>Essential Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Primary focus will entail participating and/or leading Material Review Board (MRB) activities, including investigating supplier NCRs, notifying supplier & managing each occurrence through the corrective action phase; Coordinate supplier notification & “return to vendor” activities</li>\n <li>Review supplier requests for deviation & direct review other core functions</li>\n <li>Manage ASL for assigned suppliers, performing on-site assessments & audits as required per QMS & AS9100 requirements</li>\n <li>Support the onboarding, developing, cost recovery & performance improvement initiatives as directed by Supply Chain Management</li>\n <li>Support Supply Chain in facilitating the flow-down of customer specific requirements to suppliers</li>\n <li>Monitor supplier performance via scorecards & drive corrective action & continuous improvement initiatives</li>\n <li>Perform source inspection & NPI verification activities as required</li>\n <li>Review FAI submissions & drive receiving inspection plans; Submit and/or review Engineering Change Orders (ECO) & support purchasing with change management activities</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Position Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>S/BT with 3 years of experience</li>\n <li>Experience with ISO9001 Quality Management Systems; Knowledge of First Article Inspections per AS9102</li>\n <li>Experience in OEM aerospace manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.</li>\n <li>Source/Quality Inspection, experience with measurement equipment - surface plates, height gages, micrometers, gage blocks, CMM equipment, optical comparator & vision systems</li>\n <li>Experience with formal problem-solving tools</li>\n <li>Knowledge of change management processes & strategies</li>\n <li>Must be able & willing to travel regionally to support Supplier Quality related visits</li>\n <li>MS Office proficiency</li>\n <li>Data capture and analysis experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Preferred Qualifications</u></strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>5 years of experience within a Supplier Quality related field</li>\n <li>Experience with AS9100 or IATF16949; Lead or internal auditor certification/training</li>\n <li>Technical experience, qualifications, certifications, training & skills a plus.\n  <ul>\n   <li>Metallurgy, industrial chemistry, processing knowledge, metrology, GD&T, machining, Elastomeric & ITT Enidine related products</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) – PPAP: Control Plans, PFMEA, GR&R, MSA; Risk Assessment & risk-mitigation tools</li>\n <li>Experience with Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing methodology, including certifications or project experience</li>\n <li>Driven individual with great communication skills and the ability to collaborate well with others, work in a fast-paced environment & foster supplier partnerships</li>\n</ul>\n<p>This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
