Mission principale Red Barrels recherche un artiste de personnages doté d’un haut niveau de créativité et d’esprit d’innovation. Nous recherchons une personne désireuse d’adopter une approche originale et capable de s’épanouir dans un environnement collaboratif impliquant plusieurs studios. À ce poste, vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec les concepteurs, les artistes et l’équipe de programmation afin d’offrir une expérience de jeu de grande qualité. Tâches et missions  Vous faites partie  de  l’équipe   chargée  des  personnages . Vous  travaillez   en   étroite  collaboration avec divers  membres  de  notre  équipe,  tels   que  le  directeur   artistique , le  directeur  technique  artistique , le  directeur   créatif ,  l’animateur   en  chef, le  directeur  de jeu, le  concepteur   narratif  et le  scénariste ,  afin  de donner vie à  nos  jeux et à  leurs   personnages . Vous créez des personnages en respectant les spécifications techniques et les délais impartis. Vous participez à la mise en place de pipelines et de pratiques visant à optimiser le flux de travail. Sur le plan  créatif , vous  travaillez  dans le respect du style  établi  du  jeu :   création   artistique , recherche et documentation. Vous créez nos personnages principaux et les préparez pour les étapes suivantes du développement. Vous travaillerez sur différents types de personnages : les personnages jouables (et le pipeline de personnalisation/éléments cosmétiques) ainsi que divers personnages ennemis. Profil Maîtrise des processus de création de personnages en 3D dans le domaine des jeux vidéo. Maîtrise  de  ZBrush . Maîtrise  des  logiciels  de  modélisation  3D (3ds Max  ou  Blender de  préférence ). Être  au fait des  dernières  tendances  en  matière  d’outils  et de techniques d’art 3D. Un  solide  portfolio  démontrant  des  connaissances   en   anatomie ,  en   modélisation  de  tissus  et de surfaces  rigides . Ne pas hésiter à donner son avis à ses collègues et aux prestataires externes. Maîtrise  de Substance Painter pour la  création  de textures de haute  qualité . Maîtrise de Marvelous Designer pour la création de vêtements. Expérience  dans la  création  de chevelures  réalistes  pour les jeux  vidéo   ou   en  temps  réel . Capacité  à  s’adapter  à un style  artistique   établi ,  ainsi   qu’à   innover   en  proposant de nouveaux styles et techniques. Main mission Red Barrels is looking for a talented 3D Character Artist who brings a high level of creativity and innovation to their work. We are looking for someone who is interested in doing things differently and thrives in a cross studio collaborative environment. This role would have you working closely with designers, artists, and the programming team to bring a high-quality player experience to The Outlast Trials. Tasks and missions You are part of the character team. You work closely with various members of our team, such as the art director, art technical director, creative director, lead animator, game director, narrative designer, writer to realize our games and our game’s characters. Create characters in line with technical specifications and deadlines. You find yourself working on  establishing  pipelines and  practices  for a good workflow . On the creative side you work within the established style of the game – creating art, researching, and documenting. You create our main cast of characters as well as preparing them for other parts of development  further  down the pipeline. You will work on  various types  of characters: player characters (and customization/ cosmetics pipeline) and various enemy characters. Profile Knowledge in 3D character creation pipelines in digital games. Knowledge of  Zbrush . Knowledge of 3D software (3dsMax or Blender preferred). Being up to date with the latest trends in 3D art tools and techniques. A strong portfolio  demonstrating  knowledge of anatomy,  cloth  and  hard surface  modeling. Not being afraid to give feedback to coworkers and outsourcers. Substance Painter for creating  high quality  textures. Marvelous Designer skills for the creation of clothing. Experience with  creating realistic hair for games or real time. Ability to adapt to an established art style, as well as innovate new styles and techniques. Experience with  converting high poly sculpts to a game ready state (Low poly / UV / Baking). Passionate, solution-oriented, proactive, and autonomous. Love for working on a variety of tasks.
